Amazing sound
I play in a weekend band and need a good backbeat sound for the type music. I also want something that plays very soft ghost notes. With very minor adjustments this drum meets all at a reasonable price.

Clarification : It's a 7" x 13" and it's TREMENDOUS.
The Amazon description is partially incorrect. Dimensions of this drum are 7" x 13". The drum is brass on brass on brass. Chrome plated brass tube lugs on a brass shell and also featuring brass wires. The brass shell delivers beefy depth while the brass wires offer a very crisp sensitivity. It really delivers BOTH great low end and sensitivity. Comes with nylon washers under the heads of the tension rods. Holds tune well. I love this snare. Although you will often find a price of $330 for this drum, it can be had for $250 if you're diligent. Recommendation : BUY THIS DRUM.
