Great!
Shipping was fast and the value is great. Battery worked perfectly for what I was soldering it to. It was my first time soldering, and it went perfectly!

Perfect replacement for Ensoniq rack synth
Took longer to unscrew the case than to solder in the replacement. Works fine, just make sure you don’t mix up positive and negative.

Works in vintage Yamaha instruments and FX
I used these to replace dead internal batteries in some vintage Yamaha music equipment, which brings the effects and memory bank back to life. One pin needs to be bent slightly to align with the solder holes, but there’s plenty of length to bend and they pop right in. Easy fix at a great price compared to buying individually at almost the same cost, and now I have 9 spares for future use. I’ll probably never know how long it lasts because they take years to die, but hopes are high.

well made
used these as backup batteries for an RTC on my electronics project. They work fine and seem to have plenty of capacity. They are well made and packed individually.

Perfect for replacing N64 tabbed batteries
New to collecting retro hardware and I couldn't figure out why some of saves weren't saving to my N64 cartridges.Turns out, for some N64 games Nintendo thought it was a good idea to use S-RAM to save their games. They have a lifespan of roughly 20 years, And if the battery dies, your save goes with it.Research lead me to purchasing these. I've never soldered before but there are some great tutorials on YouTube on how to use a soldering iron to replace cartridge batteries. You do have to bend the tabs slightly to fit into the PCB but that isn't a big deal.I can confirm that Smash 64, Ocarina of Time, and F-Zero X are now saving as they normally should. So I'm definitely recommending this! It's also worth mentioning that there's almost a 100% chance that you'll lose your save as soon as that battery is removed, so just keep that in mind. Only do this for games you don't mind "starting over" with. There are still some cartridges out there that will save their data just fine with OEM batteries. But I would definitely swap them out as soon as you can...

They work!
Got these for my Super Smash Bros N64 game. All the progress was lost due to the previous battery failing. Soldered one of these into the cartridge and voila, unlocked a couple of characters and they stayed unlocked. Hopefully this'll give me 10 or so years to keep the game progress I now have to redo. But these work! A must have.
