Byrna SD - Pepper Ultimate Bundle

Compared to a paintball that didn’t break, when hitting targets with the kinetic rounds it hit with a surprising amount of force. It ripped threw regular cardboard moving boxes with ease and has enough force to bounce off a wooden backstop and still go a decent distance. With the short barrel it seems a little bit louder than the paintball guns I used to have but I did not verify with a sound meter. It seems well constructed and has some weight to it. Mags slide and lock in nice. It would be nice if the mag release was not flush to make for easier reloading, a specially if you have small hands. It should due well if used in the proper situation, but is not a fit for every situation. It’s a good tool for densely populated places where bullet pass throughs, misses or ricochets would be a concern.

I've used this and I'm so impressed I bought another one. The first in Orange. The other in Tan. I will say though that the CO2 cartridge only allows for about 4-6 clips of shots. This is a great gun I love it cuz u can keep it loaded and not pressurize the gun until u need it. That was a major sales point fo me. I went to Big Fuve and found a holster for it 15$. The Accuracy is incredible. I've shot this up to 20-30-40 feet with pretty dam good accuracy. LLS. Get some extra CO2 cartridges. Its supper easy. BTW. Pepper Balls are about 5$ "EACH" SO get the yellow practice balls. Use a plywood back stop. And reuse. I use card board amd.make my own targets. To each their own. Peace and safety for all.

Despite providing my wife with revolvers for self-defense , she would never carry them because, frankly, she didn't really want to shoot anyone with a potentially lethal bullet. The pepper spray devices were OK, but they are only useful if someone is already fairly close. Pink is a good color so no one thinks you have a real gun. (I will be surprised if this review makes it through Amazon Community Guidelines, but I don't know how else to explain the advantages of this unit.)

My thoughts on this item have changed after using for a few months. Turns out if you don’t use the CO2 cartridge after a few weeks it runs empty on I’ts own from leaking slowly I guess. The big problem with that is there is no way to know this or exactly when it’s empty. So if there comes a time to need it chances are after a week or so not in use it will not fire due to the empty cartridge. Which kinda makes the item useless. Only way to be 100% sure it will fire is to change the cartridge every week or so to make sure it works. Which again ends up being pretty damn expensive and annoying. It looks good but it should have an empty cartridge indicator. Just my opinion. It’s about the cost of a actual firearm. So you think it be a better design.

As a felon and someone outdoors always fishing when bears getting ready to hibernate or waking up this with pepperballs or tear gas with bearings as last choice never had touse but can say the practice rounds punch thru water bottles that aint opened at 30 foot. So a extra piece of mind if you aint a gun person or a felon. This the option if you need it

I keep mine for critter protection along with a lazer/flashlight attached and it has saved me from being mauled. Its not cheap priced junk and its not cheaply made either, it feels much like a regular pistol in weight and feel. For non lethal protection this along with pepper balls is a very good choice imho

Easy to use...works awesome... doesnlook.like a real firearm so be very careful... I would NOT want to be hit with one of the projectiles never mind the pepper or max shots. Daaaaang...def recommend

I Havent tried yet but looks real, Im a second hand seller and I wanted carry a gun but sometimes is pointless because eith a real gun sometimes we will loose more trying to protect material things that we can get again with work, but this is a non lethal gun and I rearher to carry this one on at least to give me time to defense myself and runaway without killing someone
