Review: Great book!!! - I’m 19 and I just got this book a couple days ago. I was gonna wait til I was done with it to write a review, but it’s so good I can’t wait any longer!!! I love that it not only has the classics and stories from Chicken Soup For The Preteen Soul, but also stories that apply to teenagers today!!! My favorite story is the second one called “Dear Sixteen Year Old Me”. It makes me see my life beyond my teenage years. I was just telling my grandma my struggles to understand the Bible as a Christian teenager, how I cry because I feel so stupid, and then the next day, this book comes in the mail and I read a story like that and it brings things into perspective. Thank the Lord!!! I know that the book talks about LGBTQ issues, which goes against my beliefs, but these are issues that we as teens face. I feel sad that grandmother wrote that she won’t give this book to her sixteen year old granddaughter because of that. We’re TEENAGERS for goodness sake. But be that as it may, it’s a great book and I recommend it for all teenagers!!
