AMLOOPH Garden Wire For Climbing Plants, 30M Stainless Steel Wire Rope Kit

I used this for a plant trellis, for some climbing roses. I put 5 2 meter lines across a new fence, securing the eye fittings into new wooden fence posts. You need to be careful cutting the wire because if you don’t have a clean cut the wire is difficult to thread through the fitting that makes the eye loop. I used wire cutters but then found that an angle grinder gave a nicer cleaner cut. The first line too some time to make, getting it so that it was the correct length and could be made taught. After this learning the next 4 we’re relatively quick to make a fit. I did drill pilot holes to make sure the metal fixing eyes went in dead straight and level into the fence posts. Hopefully as these are all stainless steel there will be no rust and continue to looks good.

Having planted a wisteria a few weeks ago, I needed something strong to support it as it grows. Having never used anything like this I admit I was a little apprehensive, but it is incredibly simple and straightforward to do. I don’t think the instructions are very clear tbh, but once I’d got the hang of it, I was away. If using the tensioners be sure to unwind them as far as possible, that way you can really tighten the wire, and get it nice and taut. I’ve put up 3 rows across the back of my house so far, and have plenty of wire and bits and bobs left to do a few more. Overall really happy, and not a bad price too

Good quality product. Fiddly to fit all the components together single handedly. Strong wire with a smooth surface. Need sharp wire cutters to cut to length.

Recently purchased two 30m packs to run along a fence to support climbing roses. Easy installation and the quality looks as though it will last several years. I will be ordering more to hang outdoor Christmas garlands and support some vines. Great value

Used this to attach to fence for climbing plants to grow up/along. As a result, I didn't use all the parts since many are for a wire fence. What I used was the wire, which at 30m was sufficient for 3 lengths along the fence. I pulled them relatively tense whilst putting up and no sign of snapping. The wire itself seem to be plastic coated so that was good with no cutting myself. Also used were 2 of the loop ends and tensors. I also used the 5x hook eyes and 5x hooks, which I screwed into the featherboard fence panels at the posts (to ensure I had something solid to screw into). However I was actually in need of 12 hooks/eyes in total for my approx 7.5m x 3 runs - so I improvised with two additional smaller hooks I had lying around. Overall at £22 it's a decent set, just wished for a couple more hooks - but what was provided was clearly labelled, so can't really complain about that. The quality and robustness of the materials cannot be faulted, so I think definitely recommend.

I was working on a trellis system. I didn't need all these parts so I priced the items I needed separately and found this was certainly value for the money. 50 feet of wire cost as much as this kit with 100 feet of wire. Also four turnbuckles cost the amount of the entire kit. So definitely value for your money. Save the other parts for other projects.

I used this kit for drop down tables on an outdoor kitchen box or chuck box.

Kits not bad for very light duty jobs. Not a lot of cable clamps and crimps, considering you'll need 4 each if you'll be doing two lengths using a tensioner. I literally was just going to be using this for laundry, but as you can see in the picture it couldn't even bear the weight of a single wet blanket without the wire slipping out of the plastic coating. I will be returning the kit.

The costing got instantly damaged with load bearing, and the whole thing collapsed, made it useless for heavy duty
