An average size baby is 7lb 5 oz. THESE BOOTIES ARE FAR FROM BEING ABLE TO FIT A NEWBORN-3 MONTHS. I recommend the company to updates their site AND REVIEW how tiny newborn babies are. These will fit a 9 month - 1 year old baby. The booties are cute and soft but my friend's baby will not fit into these until the summer of 2022, not the winter of 2021.
