Perfect size for travel and can easily fit into a TSA approved toiletry bag. Enough hair product for longer trips (1+ week). I specifically only buy this size this for travel. Usage varies based on the amount that you use. I have very thick hair so I need to use more to have that strong hold that i need for a slick back look. this is normal for me as I find this to be the case with all the hair products I have tried although I will say this product can achieve that result with less. It does have a subtle clean scent to it although not an over whelmimg scent. Easy to apply to and blend into your hair to help you achieve your ideal look. Easy to wash out. On nights where I fell asleep without washing out I find that it retains the strong hold and can add spray of water to it to use it again without having to reapply and it can still keep a lot of it's stregth. Overall worth the price due to its quality and product life span.

I have used a lot of gels, pomades and sprays and this may be the best. I have wavy but thinner hair and this doesn’t weight it down, smells great, holds just right and makes my hair look healthy not oily or greasy. I wasn’t sure I was ready to try a new brand but I’m super glad I did. I will be buying more. Very lightweight, easy to put on and holds perfectly. That said, you can still run your fingers through it without your hair feeling hard to the touch. Well done!

Heard about Layrite from a You Tuber that I follow. Great product! Does exactly what you want it to do - non greasy, very little needed, hair will look the way you want it to.

Pretty nice and light but it works, I like it. Not as good as the sea salt one they discontinued tho, at all.

Layrite is my go-to. It gives the perfect matte finish without feeling heavy or greasy. I also love that it comes in a small travel size that’s TSA approved, so it’s easy to throw in my bag for trips. Great hold, great texture, and super convenient. Highly recommend.

Quite the rip-off. This product is positioned as a value alternative to a more expensive (26 €) version. The expensive version is three times bigger (normal size) however.

I used to use Old Spice Spiffy pomade, which was the medium hold matte finish one, but they recently changed the formula and totally destroyed the product, so I started trying some other brands. Layrite was the perfect replacement and is a noticeable upgrade. Spreads very easily through your hair, has a good medium hold which allows you to easily restyle on the fly by just running your hands through your hair, and little to no residue is left on your hands. The finish has a noticeable shine when your hair catches some light, but doesn't look greasy or wet. The cream soda scent is smooth and subtle, and the product washes out easily. I will say though, it is definitely on the high end of the price spectrum when it comes to pomades, for comparison the current Old Spice is $5 for 65g, Dove Men Medium hold is $8 for 49g, Layrite is $13 for 42g, and Reuzel is $19 for 35g. It's more expensive than it'd like it to be, but out of the products I've tried this was the best for my hair. Just bought a 297g tub, definitely a better value. The 42g tub lasted me about 2 months using it almost daily.

Great hair wax, lasts all day and has a nice smell to it. Not like other hair waxes I’ve used before. This one seems to be less tacky and sticky.
