I am 49yrs old. I started out playing piano at 8yrs old. I can read and write music. I started playing the trumpet at 11yrs old. My first Trumpet was from Summer Hays Music center in Salt Lake City, Utah. I cannot remember my first Trumpet brand but I can tell you my last one was purchased in 2010 and it was a Bach Strad. It was my 2nd one and I unfortunately lost it in a house fire and I was under insured at the time. I have an old Yamaha a client gave me for payment on a job but it is dented and the valves are rough. Just as I was getting ready to send it in for repair it suggested to me to check out this Trumpet on Amazon. When I saw the price I was immediately turned off thinking, “This has to be junk!”. I’m shocked and amazed! The sound seems slightly flat but a good trumpet player can self tune with his lips. I’m only on day 2 of using this instrument but if you’re reading this, let me assure you, this is worth the money. I paid over $700 for a Trumpet similar to this one about 10yrs ago. I think this would be great for any beginner to medium player. I won’t say I’m a professional but I did take 1st place in state 1991 at the BYU Solo ensemble. I might buy another to keep as a spare. Money is tight right now, but eventually, I will purchase another box Stradivarius. This is a beautiful build. Perfect for the money. Best value out there.

Bought for my son to use for middle school. Good beginner trumpet. The cases holds well. The trumpet doesn’t seem to scratch easily. Nice sound and easy to play even for beginner.

I'm 83 years old and haven't so much as held a trumpet in 60 years. The other day I was visiting a friend who plays and instructs trumpet. Hearing that I played in my youth, he handed me a horn and believe it or not I remembered the scale fingering and was able to make what might be described as music. He talked me into taking lessons and gave me some leads on used instruments. He also cautioned me against buying cheap Chinese trumpets on Amazon. Because of the price point and the positive reviews of the Vangoa Bb trumpet coupled with the ability to return the item I went against his advice. And I am happy I did (so is my friend by the way). The build quality, the finish, the playability and the tone of this trumpet is nothing short of amazing. All it needed out of the box was a little valve oil on the pistons. I've got nothing to gain by giving this positive review except for the satisfaction that someone with a limited budget might profit from what is basically a fine instrument. I'm over the moon with this purchase.

Way better quality than expected and love the cushion and strap for the carrying case. The stand is also a great touch! Produces a well balanced sound and beautiful tone. The quality of this product for the price has blown me away!

Came beautifully packaged and was a good choice

My daughter has been playing this trumpet in exchange for her “real one” in her middle school band. Her teacher has even agreed with her that there isn’t much of a difference in quality/tone of sound between this and her brass trumpet. She would definitely recommend it as a cheaper option, and most definitely for the purpose of practicing.

Let me start with a short back story. My daughter has this very trumpet in lime green has had it for about 2 years. With no problems absolutely love it. However marching band requires silver or brass putting us in the market for another trumpet. The first one we order came in damage and unplayable. Amazon was very quick to get it replaced. While we were waiting the 5 days for the replacement to come in she was offered a Vincent Bach. Anyone from the music world understands the stigma that comes with it. My daughter played both and ultimately like this one better to my surprise. And know owns 2 vangoas trumpets. The silver one, one of the pearl buttons caps fell off but that was a cheap and easy fix. Both of her trumpets she loves. Although they are a bit on the cheaper they are still durable and play a high quality.
