Jump started my sauerkraut culture. People say technically you don't need this and I think it's too expensive but I tried it anyway and it did speed things up.

I use this in fermenting. Very trustworthy product.

They work just fine. Though not necessary, these cultures give a good boost to a ferment and speed the process along. I use about half as much as recommended and get good results. Dropped one star only because of the high price.

I was unable to get anything to ferment so I'm assuming the culture was dead. I read some other reviews (after the fact of buying this product) and see that this was often mentioned and therefore must be a common situation. I'm not finding any way of contacting the supplier/manufacturer. I'll look elsewhere for good cultures.

I use this to make grape juice wine snd it works great.

didn't do what I needed, Make sure to understand exactly how much and where and when and how to activate properly. My sister knows how to do this much better than me.
