La Gate Mens Big and Tall Belted up to size 50 Cargo Short (48, Green Camo)

I bought the same shorts just 6 days ago, figured I'd give it a "test"; if they fit, I'll buy more. The first one I ordered was in the "White-camo" color. Fit excellent, below my knees. So, I bought a second pair (this one) in black, size 36. (I am 6'3") Turns out, the black one I just ordered is about 1.5" shorter and, about 1" tighter than the "white-camo" design I ordered just a few days ago.. Way too short, and pretty tight. So its either that, the "white-camo" color shorts were too long (they fit perfectly) or the Black one's too short. Either way, there's massive discrepancies here.. are they even made in the same factory? are they ISO certified? Possibly QA issues? I will return the black shorts.

I stumbled across these when I was buying a bunch of the Union Bay shorts, of the same style.I'm 6' 3", with long legs, and it was close to impossible to find shorts that don't fit like Daisy Dukes.I friggin LOVE these shorts, and have already ordered more.It might not make sense to say this about shorts, but these are REALLY put together well, amd are seriously sturdy/tough.I am very hard on my clothes, and spend a lot of time in the woods....I've already worn a different pair of these on an adventure, and they held up much better than others.PLUS, despite the fact they're put together like a tank, they're just comfortable as Hell.Just get them! If you hate short shorts, and you're tall.....If you're worried about them not being as pictured/described, don't be.If you're worried about them fitting, don't be. Just order the same waist you would in slacks/jeans/etc, and they're dead on.

Nice looking shorts! However, bought two and both after less than 4 washings have developed the same problem! The zipper fails! The problems is that the at glide is metal and the teeth are plastic. You don't need to be an engineer to know what happens! The zipper teeth fall apart. Fix that and you'd have a 5 star rating!

Being 6'10" these are perfect. Nice long legs on them sizing 46 and 48 are as any other shorts or pants I wear. I will be ordering more only problem I had is I wish there were more colors to buy lol.

I loved these shorts. They were so comfortable I bought five pair. Of the five pair only one survive the summer. Two came with pockets that were unattached, one zipper broke and three, well the back pockets stick out and get caught on everything from door knobs to sharp corners and the seats ripped. For the price they aren’t worth it

Length is good, material feels a little cheap but for the price it's ok. The fit is decent and has lots of deep pockets.

These run significantly smaller than normal pants sizes. Couldn't even button them as they're a good two sizes or so smaller than I expected. On a diet anyway so they'll fit eventually so I'll update once they fit.Seem decent quality for the price otherwise.

Comfortable and great fit. Thinking of buying a 2nd pair.
