Not a lot of selling points here. It does exactly what you think it does. Nothing more, nothing less.

Great when you are trying to work on legacy equip. that requires serial port connections.
These come in handy when you are working on older equipment that has serial ports.

Good adaters with exception
Very nice - usable - but they are short and you may need to remove the "nuts" from them and simply use a longer fastener through them between what you connect if you wish a solid non accidentally unplugged solution because the fastener nuts will not allow you to plug them into or onto the other connection.

Does what it do
Gender changers for RS-232, because you never really know what you'll need.

Handy, but not perfect
The little screw-in nuts got in the way of a couple of connections I needed to make. Ideally you're connecting cable to cable, but in the event that you need to connect the gender changer to a device directly that already has the nuts sticking out of the port, these may not fit because you may end up with two female nuts against one another, preventing a good fit. In a pinch you can remove them (and the tin housing falls off), but you can then temporarily make a connection in an emergency. Not ideal. The connectors for cable-to-cable are probably perfect, but if you need to connect one of these directly to a device, you may want to do some homework.
