Air Venturi Foster Female to 1/8-Inch BSPP Male Quick-Disconnect Adapter, 5,000 PSI,Silver

For those of us in the PCP Airgun Hobby, there's definitely a need for high quality & perfect fitting connectors.. Over the years, I've tried several different brands/styles, but, these Air Venturi QD fittings are some of the best! When installing to the hose-end-threads, I have one little trick.. Rather than using 'white' thread tape, I use 'yellow thread tape'. [it's better/thicker - used on gas pipe threads] Since doing that years ago [even on high pressure pneumatic air ride auto/cycle suspension, it's worked Great] These fittings thread on flawlessly, connect and disconnect flawlessly, and they've been paired with several different brand male fittings with zero issues at all. This foster fitting is of the highest quality. I originally had ordered this item to replace a newly ordered one which came on a Airforce Scuba K valve for filling my Airforce Condor. The K valve was in excellent shape upon arrival, however, the Female foster fitting leaked air furiously, and looked like it was part of a previous return and swapped onto my new unit. I however did not know that the threading on the Air Venturi is different than that of the Airforce Scuba adapter, one is course thread, the other fine thread, Excellent quality , yet, would not fit no matter my effort or wishing it do so. Have initiated the return process and am grateful for that. Again a quality item, yet it will not fit therefore I cannot use the item

Works exactly as advertised! Only problem I encountered, and that's because I'm a newbie and didn't know, was that you have to tighten this down with a wrench, which is why it has a hex shaped shaft. I initially connected it to a mico-hose to use on my Hill MK4 pump, connecting it to my Benjamin Marauder, and air was escaping. I thought it was defective, until I learned online that you need to tighten everything down with a wrench. After I did it worked IMMEDIATELY!!! Funny because I thought it was defective and started a return to AirGunDepot, but after learning it was my mistake I bought another one (for my scuba tank), lol. In short words, it works and I would recommend it.

Only weird thing I wish they had explained is what the little screw in the middle is for. After some internet searches, I found the screw is meant to slow air flowing through the fitting. I'm guessing if you fill a small tank from a large higher pressure tank it might give a little extra control of the fill rate, making it easier to avoid overfilling. I use a hand pump, so i removed it without any issues. Fits tightly. Doesn't leak. Looks up to the job.

Just awesome. I have a Hill Mk3 pump. Great pump but Hill should be ashamed of the hose/quick disconnect supplied with that pump. It is too short, too stiff and the quick disconnect is anything but quick as it sticks like crazy. The Air Venturi Microbore Hose combined with the Air Venturi Foster Female Quick-Disconnect solves all these problems. I wish I had purchased these long ago.

I received a Hill MK3 pump for Christmas and needed a female foster connection for my Benjamin Marauder. I decided to purchase Air Venturi's microbore hose along with this quick connection to use with my Hill pump and it works great. The threads on this hose are not compatible with NPT (National Pipe Thread Taper) that is commonly used in the U.S. Be sure to confirm the thread requirements for your application before purchasing this item.
