Its very shiny
I did not realize this fabric was so shiny, very sci-fi, its OK because I actually like it. I like that its not too long like most shirts and the sleeves are just long enough for me, I have long arms, I still can't use the thumb holes but that is OK too. I went for a hike and was worried this would be like plastic wrap and be too hot but it actually breathes a little, still got a bit hot and took it off but on the way down put it back on and it was just the right amount of protection. I would recommend this shirt.

Good sun shirt for fishing or low level activities
Fabric: very densely fabric a little plastic like. Works well to block the sun but not very breathable/cool. Would be too hot to wear in the hot summer.Design: very pretty color pattern. I actually like the shimmer.Fit: compared to Columbia shirts I bought years ago these are smaller for the same size. That said, Columbia had made shirts way too big for about a decade in the recent past. These sun shirts are actually true to real size. They are slightly tight on the top. If you are busty or thick on top you may have to size up.Bottom line: Good shirt for sun blocking purposes when fishing or mostly standing still, but can't imagine running in it - it's way too hot and don't breath well.

Pretty good, but I needed to tailor it
This shirt does reflect the sun and keeps you relatively cool for a long sleeve shirt in the Florida summer.I had to tailor it quite a bit for my body shape and personal style. I found the sleeves, especially, to be much bigger than what I needed. I am busty and hippy, and my biceps are larger than average, but this plus size is cut for plus sized arms.The ruching on the sides helped give it a flattering drape and is definitely a bonus on this design.

Too shiny!
This shirt would blind you in the sun, it was so shiny. Not sure why Columbia thought this was a good idea. So disappointed. I bought a large and it fit well, but the fabric was too weird looking.

Too shiny a
The stripes are like sequence. It's probably good for swimming or hiking with the reflectors. Not good for indoors and going outside if you have lupus, for example. The picture is not accurate. It's a shame, because finding/buying UV-protective striped shirts is not easy.

love this! just what I wanted. a little sparkly but not too much. The gathers on the side make it fit so nicely. Great option for outdoor summer activities.
