Liquid Cal Mag Zinc with Vitamin D3, 30 fl oz, Pina Colada

This stuff is the bomb! It helps me sleep and it helps with regulating my digestive system. Plus the taste is not bad. I an always feel a difference about me when I haven't taken this in a while.

We needed to supplement our son's calcium after his bone density scan came back low. It was very important to me that we find a high quality and clean supplement for him. We decided on this product and push it nightly through his g-tube. We haven't had a follow-up scan yet, but he is tolerating it well and I feel good about the quality and potency of this. I'm grateful to have this available through Amazon.

I started on this about 10 weeks ago. My calcium level has gone from critical at 7.5 to 9.2. It has not been in the normal range for 2 years. Great results- I highly recommend Trace!

In my quest for a calcium magnesium supplement, I've settled on liquid form. This brand doesn't require an eye dropper, which is a plus. The big blue bottle reminds me of the Milk of Magnesia bottle. The resemblance doesn't stop there, the liquid has a chalky consistency. It even has a chalky granular taste with the pina colada flavor. I sampled it in my tea, with honey it's more sweetener than I need. With my tea, my habit is to reach for honey, so I keep forgetting to try it without honey. I do include it in my routine morning smoothie. That's where all the health stuff goes, my own version of a multi-vitamin.

My husband and I love liquid products because you receive the best for you body to receive the best bioavailability to your body. You need calcium, magnesium, zinc and vitamin D for strong bone and you will fell the fast absorbing in a liquid product then anything else on the market. We have been Buying this Trace Minerals product for years. I just had my bone density test and the Dr. Could not believe for my age test result. I am a healthy female older and totally believe in this product is keeping me healthy and keeping very active. I would recommend this product 100%. Thank you, Jen

Tastes good.

I have purchased this product in the past from local stores, but found the pricing on Amazon good and shipping convenient, so I started ordering it from Amazon. I'm not sure what happened, but over the past year (my two more recent orders--I don't always use this so I have some distance between shipments) this stuff gets gloppy really quickly to where you can't fully use the product. The first time this happened, I didn't notice until I felt I ran out of product sooner than I should have. It also seemed watery. Low and behold, a big, tough glob of this got stuck in the bottom. I tried adding more water and vigorously shaking to help loosen it up and get more product but was only mildy successful. The rest was stuck. Since I recycle my bottles, it took quite a bit of effort to get the glob out: I soaked the bottle in soap twice, then had to poke at it with a knife while hitting the bottle--with cap on--against the floor to get it all out. I figured I may have had a bad one, or spent too much time using it after opening it, even though there is no "use within [this time period]" statement on the bottle. I ordered another and got smart by making sure I shook it like there's no tomorrow before pouring a capful, then stored it, cap on, upside down in the fridge. While I could get product out, it was gloppy and too disgusting for me to drink. Instead of being the consistency of milk, it was like drinking a pasty, curdled milk. I had to spit it out or I would have thrown it up. The product does not expire till next year. Also, in the earlier stages of this latest bottle, while it was the expected consistency, it was too much in flavor, essentially tasting gross--keep in mind it's "pina colada"...I like pina coladas, but not this version of one. Despite the more pronounced flavor, it was still manageable to drink since it wasn't gloppy for the first two doses. Once it got gloppy, it was too disgusting for my mouth. The pics and video I have are opening it right after having it upside down in the fridge--the product is staying at the top of the bottle as a result. Once I pushed the glob down with my knife, it goes back down to the base of the bottle. I had a hard time recording this on my own so I got some more product out with my knife to really show how gloppy this is (the last two pictures). I have no choice but to toss this. Either Amazon is not consistently pumping out a good shipment of this product or the company is doing poorly with its formulation. Unfortunately, they only have a "feel the difference" guarantee. I guess perhaps I could state to them that their guarantee is null--and so a refund is due-- since the product isn't consumable, and therefor, I'm unable to feel the difference because I simply can't consume it. I'm not sure if I want to bother since I already got rid of the bottle awhile ago. I'll certainly update if I do. Lastly, there is 1mg of ITM iron in this. I'm not sure what ITM is or why they put iron in this type of supplement. Fortunately, I have cal/mag/zinc caplets by Solaray in storage, so I'm not without my nighttime need of calcium and magnesium. While I'm not a fan of taking 4 caplets each time (to get almost the same amount of cal/mag--1000mg/500mg--as Trace Minerals does in a cap--1200mg/600mg), the caplets are at least consumable.

I love this supplement. However, I've noticed recently how most of the supplement gets stuck at the bottom of the container?!? And there's no way to get it dislodged even if you shake it. I want to make sure I'm getting the minerals in it and I'm not sure I am.
