Let me begin by saying Major, my rescue Doberman Pinscher, hates the water. He refuses to go out in the rain, avoids stepping in puddles, steers clear of the sprinkler, and even avoids going into the master bathroom. We have not taken him to the lake, but I can imagine that it would be much the same. Baths have been few, very few actually (with the exception of Huggie’s baths which he loves). So when it is time for an actual real bath using actual real water the adventure needs to be efficient, fast, and thorough or everyone will be soaked and no one will be any cleaner. This little bath brush addresses and aids in all of the required bath parameters. As an added benefit it does help somewhat to calm him since he likes to be brushed with the rubber bristled hand grooming gloves. The Brodhi bath brush gently gets into the hair and with brushing helps to release the hair, softly washes the skin, and massages the muscles at the same time. The rubber bristles do not pull the hair or irritate the skin as sharper metal bristles might do. The hair comes out of the brush easily and does not fly everywhere. The entire brush is made of a flexible rubber, and the little rounded, nubby teeth are very soft but effective. The hand slips easily into the strap on the back enabling one to brush with one hand and hold the dog (if needed) with the other. This little bath brush is sturdy, well made, pliable and easily stored. As an added bonus, they come in 11 colors, pack without fuss or muss, and are easily cleaned. This Brodhi hand bath brush does not make bath time a walk in the park, but it does help to increase the efficiency thereby decreasing the time needed for the bath…to the relief of pup and peeps alike! It works very well and makes bathing the dogs easier.

This was great for bath time. The dogs really enjoyed the massage. It did slip off my hand a few times. Getting the hair out of it was not easy. My dogs have short hair and the hair just wanted to stay stuck in it.

Ive taken my dog to multiple groomers and they all use this type of de-shedding scrubber during a bath so I assume theres a reason for that. If you have a hairball dog like a Golden Retreiver- brush normally first with your brush then give a bath with this thing and it will cut down on shedding for a little bit. Hair cleans out of brush easier when wet. Highly recomended for the hairy boys.

Works well

This gets so much more hair off my dog while I'm giving her a bath. It's great, inexpensive, and easy to use! It helps remove hair during the bath so that she sheds A LOT less afterward. Wish I'd bought one years ago!

This is so easy to use. The dogs love the massage and it makes the shampoo more sudzy (is that a word?) and the whole bath is more effective. I still put the shampoo on the dogs first because I tried pouring it onto the brush and it didn’t seem to work as well. All and all a great buy.

This is a great brush for introducing pet brushing to your puppy. The regular brushes scared my puppy but this soft massaging brush made her completely submissive. It was pretty good for her first bath too. I believed it helped her not be terrified of getting a bath.
