these touch up pens are a must for any furniture dealer or home owner. really useful. we use them alot.

The markers have a very fine brush tip allowing as narrow as a 1/16 in mark. Very nice.

I believe the micro brushes may have been on the shelf for too long. The inkin several of the pens seems to have dried out . Shipping was great. Items arrived ahead of time.

Bought two kits last January on Amazon, one was shipped from Mohawk and one from, I'm guessing, a Mohawk distributer, to make finish repiars on guitars I repair. I use them often but ususally the same five or six colors. They work good especially for graining but also work well to match other small finish repairs. Choosing the right colors match well. I needed to use a color that I hadn't used yet, a year later, and it was completely dry. This prompled me to check the other colors. There were two pens in each kit that were dry. Thinking the company would replace them, seeing they were never used and always covered, they would replace them. After talking to Gerri their customer service rep, and sending me on a goose chase to get all the info he requested, lot #s, and order numbers, date purchased etc., they flatly refused to replace them saying because of the time that has past they wouldn't replace them and also said they wouldn't have replaced the pens I bought from the distributer.....REALLY! Keep in mind I told them they were purchased a year ago before he asked me to research the info he asked me for. Could have told me then they wouldn't replace them instead of waisting my time and making me believe they would. Prior to spining my wheels he told me the pens have a 2 year shelf life. Evidently they don't, unless they are selling old product. And only they would know by the lot #'s. Regardless, you would think they would support thier products and be an upstanding company and replace 2 year shelf life product that go bad after one year. That's is, of course, they aren't selling expired products. They certainly aren't going to get a good reviews with my many other wood working friends. I would think twice about spending your hard earned money on a crap shoot with this second rate companies product that's not cheap. Good Luck!

There is no red in maple. Unless you're using this company's product. Perhaps a designer with a better color sense would be more successful.
