Pros: People have complained about the remote, for a LED remote best I've had. People say they're flimsy and low quality, I haven't found that. People have complained the difference in light setting aren't massive, well they're meant for growing plants so they have to stay with in the luminescence range for plant growth, If you have good hard scape the lower light settings will cast more shadows. Its down to how good you made your layout the light can't do everything for you. Another thing I have read is that the instructions are hard to follow and they don't know how to use the remote properly. The instructions are like 4 pages just breaking down the features, they are not even needed since the remote is very straight forward and it works just fine. Depending on the types of plants if plants are the thing you're doing I would recommend the Fluval Plant LED. Or if the growth is not doing what you're wanting then add a second unit.
