Sing Along King
This is a very nice videoke machine. I bought it for my mother-in-law and she absolutely loves it. Had it mailed to her address in NJ but someone else installed it using HDMI and you know what that means. There was a massive delay between your voice and what comes out of the speakers. When we came to visit her a month later, she didn't look happy at all when I asked her about the videoke. She likes that all the songs she wanted were in it but the sound was horrible. I checked the connections and made some adjustments. I routed the sound directly to her soundbar instead of her TV and voila! The delay was gone. We sung the night away. Everyone was happy and I became a hero to her. LOL. If I have to find something negative about this product, it would be the voice when entering the number selection. It became irritating after a while; specially when you're entering the numbers faster than the voice could speak them. But that's very minor. This is a fun, entertaining, and reliable machine. We bought the lesser model for our home without the annoying voice. I'd like to note that the seller is also wonderful. We bought additional song chips from them and they were shipped out promptly from the Philippines. We received them in less than 3 days. Highly recommended.

Still debating
I had an older Magic Mic since 2001 and that just recently failed so time to buy a new karaoke system. Found the TKR371MP because of the huge song list and it advertises having HD video and HD sound.Got the package and was surprised it came with a HDMI cable. Unfortunately, due to the sound setup I have, I was experiencing a minor but noticeable mic delay and this is not adjustable under settings. Had to use the RCA cables and no more delay. The songs are still mostly in MIDI format but some songs have better quality. The same goes with the background video... some look like standard definition and some in HD. Some of the background videos have actors and actresses that are so annoying and the story of the background doesn't match with the song. For example, you're singing a love song and you have people fighting and killing each other in the background video. This can be very distracting and I wish I could turn it off.I don't feel it's worth the $549 but will have to play with it more before I make a decision to return or keep it.

Great Product with one major flaw- Guess what?
It was a great product and I was excited to use it. The look and quality of the Karaoke was excellent. It was expensive compared to others but I can see the high quality and built of the product. The HD video was clear and 720p hd but my TV upgraded it to 1080p. The sound was great too and the song selection was excellent. Unfortunately, I was sad to return it because of one major flaw. You might have guess it already. It was the annoying Microphone Delay that broke the deal with me. I have Bose surround and did all the adjustment to minimize the delay but I was unsuccessful. I turned off the digital processing on my sound system. Used the red and white audio cable and yellow for video even though it will downgrade my video to non HD just to correct the delay. I even connected it to my other AV receiver in my office and still the delay was there. I even connected a wired mic and still no. I did came close to half a second delay from about 2 second but half a second was still annoying that I have decided that no matter how good it was, I had to return.I just hope they will do a fix to this issue especially when most household in the US have an existing home theater system that will definitely be connected to this karaoke. Nobody in their right mind will connect this to the TV directly or buy a new sound setup for this gadget. So please fix it!!!

Excellent karaoke machine
This machine was very easy to set up - an (included) HDMI cord to the TV, an (included) RCA cord to a separate amplifier, a power cord, and (included) batteries in the microphones and remote control, and the unit was set to go. Beautiful HD images and clear sound, without any gaps in timing because of the use of a separate amplifier for the audio feed, this unit is worth the relatively steep price. The wireless microphones worked perfectly from different angles across a wide area of the room.

WOW!
The picture and audio quality of this unit on my new 60" Samsung is fantastic. But the trick to prevent a delay on the Audio coming from the mic is, hook up the unit using the provided HDMI cable directly to the back of the TV, but use the red and green wires from the RCA plug, and plug these wires directly to a stereo amplifier using the AUX function. Now there's no more delay and the system sounds fantastic! I have the older Mabuhay Wow system, and this new Grand system is much better quality and a lot more songs built in. My only disappointment is the wireless mics keep shutting off after 5 minutes or so, even when using the mic to chose different songs. The instructions state the they will automatically shut off during "NON" use to prevent battery drainage, but it seems to shut off no matter if you use it or not. I haven't dug deep into the settings yet, and possibly there is a way to bypass this function...But not sure. Otherwise its a great system that looks and sounds professional.

Bad Mic Delay
Although a great system it has one very annoying feature and that's the mic delay. When you sing there's approximately a half second delay before the sound is generated meaning all the singing is out of time with the music, unless you try an pre-empt the melody. This is very off-putting as you're effectively hearing your voice echo, and after looking on line, it appears this is a common problem with this system. I'm sure there must be better systems out there for the money.
