You get what you pay for, no frills, just bare bones... Once again, a good show like Sliders has been released in cheap packaging. All 15 discs are packaged in thin, double sided cardboard sleeves. Brand new out of the box, some of the discs have very light scratches and the last disc in my set had a finger print on the playing surface. There are zero special features, no informational inserts of any kind, and nothing written about the series except for the feeble description on the back of the case. Even though the Cro-Mags would have treated the release of this series with more respect, I'm giving this set 5 stars because you get ALL 5 seasons for under $25, ALL the discs are single sided, the transfer of picture and sound of EVERY episode is clean, the very slim case saves shelf space, and the episodes are ALL finally in the correct order. As far as how I would rate the series itself, the first 2 seasons are the best and I'd give the entire series 3.5 stars because understandably, some of the CGI is not very good and some of the acting is bad. Overall: Buy this set because it's a good deal!

I had the two season special edition, but wanted the complete set. Millcreek is famous for their penny pinching video collections, typically a bunch of cardboard sleeves in a cardboard box. But lets face it, nobodys going to put out a steelbook of these old TV shows. The video and audio is decent and thats what matters. Not collectors type material but an enjoyable way to watch some classic old shows. And I can only play DVD on my computer. and at the house I have an Oppo. Watching this on both is decent, a great way to watch some of my favorite shows, like Sliders Always enjoyed this series, and this bare bones collection gets the job done. Five seasons for 22 bucks, a massive amount of entertainment for cheap. Millcreek has the right idea, cut the nonessentials and give a decent picture and sound, which is at the end of the day is what matters. Grill cheese sandwiches and tomato soup anybody? .

If you like 90's scifi than this is a winner! Iam a big fan of this show. As you know the show was aired on tv in the episode wrong order. Also all streaming services show it in the wrong order. This dvd set is the first I have seen with the episodes in the CORRECT order. That is how you want to watch it. And the picture is crystal clear. Looks great.

Very good item

Who wouldn't like to go along just for the ride, to experience the unknown? Landing into unexpected portals of time travel to alternate universes. This intense series keeps bringing it on. It's riveting with adventure from the beginning to the end. A must see Sci-fi Classic.

Good discs; I watched all episodes, and there were no playback problems. The set was delivered about the end of the promised delivery date range. For the show itself, seasons 1 to 3 were enjoyable, season 4 was fairly good. Season 5 had only Rembrant from the original 4 cast members. Maggie was also present, which helped continuity. There were an additional two members of the sliding group, but they were not developed much by the writers and were very forgettable. I had trouble even remembering the name of Diana's character. Given the cost of buying seasons 1 to 3 individually, just buy this collection, as I did. Just don't expect seasons 4 and 5 to live up to the standard set by seasons 1 to 3. Many of the episodes are more cerebral: about the group dealing with a strange world and the results of that world making different choices; some action thrown in, but action was not the central point. Some of the episodes from season 3 and 4 have been more action-oriented; I think the cerebral episodes were more interesting.
