This has got to be THE best HWB on the planet! You can put boiling water in it and it will stay warm all night. Regarding what another reviewer said about it not being hot enough, it does take a little bit of time to get the heat from the water to the outside surface of the bag. This is not an instant process like it is with HWB's with thinner skins. I put boiling water in mine and then put it in the bed, under the covers in order to create a warm spot in the bed. I leave it there maybe 5 minutes before I get in. Then when I get in, I move it over and snuggle up next to it. So I'm laying in the warm spot it made and have a "warm body" next to me. When it is initially filled with boiling water like that (ALL boiling water, not half and half), for several hours it will be too hot for me to have it in direct skin contact without it burning me. So my experience is that it definitely gets good and hot!

Great hot water bottle. Nice and water tight. I like to wrap a soft scarf around it though, because the rubbery outside isn't very comfy on skin. But it stays warm a long time.

This was bought in hopes that it will not leak like the regular red hot water bottles I've had over the years. I have not had it long enough to know but so far I've enjoyed having it & glad I bought it. What I do know is the opening is larger and more generous than any red bottle I've tried, which makes it so much easier to fill. I can turn on the water with much pressure, filling the bottle quickly & smoothly. With the smaller opening of other bottles, the water can bubble up and splash as it's trying to fill the narrow-opening, unless I fill it with a very slow stream of water with just right direction. This new bottle is easier to use & I appreciate the feature. One issue is the pattern on the outside. It is a tiny edgy pattern one can see in the picture but what the picture does not show is that water, if you get the bottle wet, will be trapped in the valleys all over this bottle. It will only release the water by carefully sliding cloth between all the little edges, you cannot just wipe it dry but it takes drying each little valley separately. As long as one keeps the water inside & not on the outside, not a problem. A bigger issue is that it does not give out the warmth of what is inside as the regular red bottles do. However, because it is softer, it is terrific when needing a hot water bottle for the neck/upper back as it conforms to one rather than being stiff & resistant. We don't need super hot on the body anyway, so even though it is not as hot as others, for this purpose, it is really great. An issue on one way, a feature in another. I enjoy the softness once the bottle is filled. It feels comfy, soft & snuggly rather than stiff and firm. This is a plus to me, an added benefit to this bottle.

It is a nice hot water bottle. I use hot bottles for year and has to replace them few times due to heavy use. This one is strong and clean.

Love it! Works great! Love the color makes my time of the month sooo much better. So nice I don't have to be plugged in with a heating pad and I can enjoy a cup a tea with the water I warm up to put inside. Sometimes I will be put a cover over it because it can get hot if using boiled water be careful. Has a large funnel spout which makes pouring hot water inside very easy. Would highly recommended Update: after 8 years of monthly use on and off between 2 pregnancies it finally exploded out a hole in the seams and spilled hot water all over the side of my bed and burned my thigh pretty bad. Be careful with putting in hot water from the kettle.

Not only does it come in cute colors (doesn't matter with pain, but it is easier on the eyes than the older ones). Holds heat for a while, and the ribbed texture makes sure you're not being burned by the hot water in it.

I filled this with hot tap water, and slept in a sleeping bag camping in 40ish degree weather. I was too warm! This thing stayed warm most of the night, and still had some Luke warm heat in the morning. Didn't leak either through multiple uses.
