HORUSDY 12-Inch Wood Pruning Reciprocating Saw Blades, 5TPI Saw Blades - 5 Pack

Basically I got 5 saw blades for about what you would pay for one at a home improvement store. We recently had a new privacy fence installed in our backyard but a few of the 4x4 posts that were put up were cut off at the top a little crooked. Since I purchased some solar post cap lights, I wanted to square off the tops of the crooked ones to give myself a smooth and level surface to mount the lights on. So I purchased a cutting guide for this project and the instructions suggested using 9-13” blades for my reciprocating saw. Since the longest blades I already had were only 8”, I decided to purchase these. I was pleasantly surprised how easily the blade cut through the wood. If you’ve ever had to cut pressure treated lumber before, you know how much more dense and tough it can be to cut. For my project, the blade worked better than expected.

These saw blades are great. If you let the saw do the work and not force the cut, they work fine. And the price was excellent. Any negative reviews should be ignored.

The blades cut well enough. I used them for a severe trim of some crepe myrtles and cutting roots of bushes and trees for removal and was satisfied with their sharpness. The issue some have expressed with bending is common with any blade this length - 12 inches. The only downside I experienced is they seem to break sooner at the insertion point of the saw due to the stress at that point. Overall these are decent blades at a good price.

Cut right thru 3inch branches. Fit was as described. Good quality!
