Great beam pattern and brightness
I use this light on my Fatbike for winter riding at night. I really like the beam pattern of this light, it not to narrow, and not too wide that you can’t see far enough ahead. It is probably a better bar mounted light, than a helmet mounted, but it does work as a helmet mounted light, i like my helmet light to have a little narrower beam, but that is personal preference. The bright is really bright, but to get the longest battery life i use the second lowest setting which is good enough to see with and lasts at least 2 hours. The size and weight is good, which is where they had to compromise with battery capacity. The one thing that would make this better is of the battery was removeable. Being able to change the battery part way through the ride would allow you to run the light at a brighter setting without fear of going without light on those longer rides. Another great thing is unlike some other LED bike lights, this one will warn you when it is running low with a flicker at intervals. It probably ran another 15 minutes before turning off. That time may vary depending on what power setting you have, i only have the experience with the one.

Brighter version of the ceco 1000
I read tons of reviews for the ceco 1000 and was about to buy it when I stumbled across this new version, and I took a chance on spending the extra few dollars on this instead. I'm glad I did, it is a nice little light for mountain biking. The color of the light is nice, like a modern led car headlight. It has a medium beam width, not super wide or super narrow. I like the stretchy rubber strap that makes it easy to remove and install without tools. The one button controls everything based on how long you hold down the button, so it helps to read the instructions and play with the light first before going out in the dark. In night mode, the button cycles through Night Pulsing -> Low -> Medium -> Medium High -> High then back to Night Pulsing as you press the one button. There is a bit of a learning curve to stop at High without going one click too far and having to cycle through all the power levels again to get back to High. The light output is very usable in Medium High when trying to conserve power or when you don't want to blind oncoming bikers or cars with the High beam.

Skiing at night.
I mount this to my helmet To ski at night. Great light. Holds charge when cold. I would highly recommend over expensive Alts.

Worked great til it didn't. You dont want unreliability in your bike light.
Worked great, until it didn't.I liked the idea of this, affordable, good reviews. Worked well for 2 bike commutes, very bright, lots of good strobe settings for both day and night riding, felt solid in the hand and the lock and UI was good, battery lasted the 2 hour ride to work and back.On the third trip it stopped working 10 min in and I thought I had maybe forgotten to charge it. Not the case. wouldn't charge, wouldn't turn on, and of course...a few days after the return window closed. Now it's just a paperweight.Tried to go through the support email, and haven't heard anything after a week and a half. I should have put the $40ish bucks through a decent light with support.I've since tried to repair it myself and it looks like there is a short in the circuit board and bends in the wiring has resulted in cracking in the wire insulation.Maybe yours will last a long time, maybe yours will also stop unexpectedly and leave you in the dark on the road going home. Not worth figuring out which one IMO.

Fantasic!
I use it as a high beam for when it's needed, it works very well. I like the different modes it has and it's even brighter than my friend's light. It's also very uncommon for a light to fit Pinerello One-Piece handlebars so thats a sweet feature! I'd recommend it to anyone

great light, might be too bright?
Great light with 4 settings: blink, low, medium, high.I generally keep it on "low" and it's plenty bright.I think they should also adjust range between the low-medium-high settings so the "low" is even dimmer. I never use "medium", never use "blink", and rarely use "high". Having a lower "low" would extend the battery life. But overall, i do like how bright this thing can get!The battery tends to run out sooner than i would expect. Would be nice if they put a better, longer-lasting 18650 battery in here. But since it's rechargeable, not a deal breaker.Highly recommended.

Really Bright
I used two of these for mountain biking after dark. They really do the trick. One is mounted on my helmet, and the other on the handlebar. At level three of four I don't have any trouble making the battery last for a full hour of riding. Sometimes if it is cold, level 4 will start to run out the battery around 45 minutes. It will telegraph that battery is low by quickly flashing a couple of times. I generally run at level three and don't have this problem. These are sophisticated and bright lights. Very high quality.

Bright AF
Easy to take on and off, so many settings, rarely need the brightest settings
