I called Rough Countrys 800 number for questions involving the install. It was cheaper to buy the tools required, the parts off here, and still come in under what a shop would have charged. The only hard part is getting the long bolt out that goes through the UCA and then reinstalled bc its a super tight fit. I did pull the fender well back some and then bent it back. I paired these UCAs with RC 2 inch Struts. Overall I'm loving the look! The customer service was top tier with this product. I called Rough Country themselves and not amazon ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works on 2003 2wd 4Runner! *by N***X on June 25, 2023* Rough Country only recommends these for 2010+ 4Runners and 2005+ Tacomas. That made no sense to me since all other UCA manufacturers fit all years of 4Runners from '03 on up. I rolled the dice and bought these since they are several hundred dollars cheaper than other high quality aftermarket UCAs, are forged aluminum, and look great. I figured if they fit a 2010 4Runner, they should work on a 2003. I bolted them up along with Bilsteins 5100 and Wheelers T1 springs on the bottom notch. This gave me over a 4" lift, but that's because my original springs were sagging so much. It's probably closer to a 3" inch lift nominally. Before I bolted them up, I took measurements of my stock UCAs and compared them to the Rough Country UCAs. Everything was exact, so I bolted them up and they fit perfectly. I took it in for an alignment and everything aligned with no issues. My wheels are centered in the wheel wells and only required a very minor amount of trimming to keep the tires from rubbing. I was even able to keep my front mudflaps after trimming some of the center material that was rubbing.
