To me, he looks more like he's telling you to be quite than thinking, but each to they're own interpretation. I do like the way this turned out. I bought the statue always having in mind of giving it a real bronze finish look. It looks more like an art piece, than a plastic thing. First, I painted it with a reactive bronze metallic paint. Reactive paint has real bronze bits in it. You need that for the second part. The second thing was, lightly spraying it with a patina to give it that blue/green aged look. (Both items are sold here on Amazon.) You have to apply the patina before the paint dries, are the patina reaction won't work. If there a place where the paint has dried or you don't like some spot, just add a new coat of paint there and reapply the patina. The base I give a white polished marble look to it. I drilled a 3/8" hole in the bottom of the base and filled it with sand to give it weight. Now, everyone thinks it's made of bronze and marble, not plastic resin. The only thing I would do different, I would have bought the smooth face one. Mine looks fine; I just think it would look better on smooth finish and may still do that. I'll upload pictures when I can.

I'm in love with this statue. I have it my very noisy office. Nobody really quiets down like I suggest, but I get loads of compliments about it. Truely unique.

This statue serves as our Interruption Specialist in my 7th grade classroom. He/she/it is so popular that it was stolen on Day 2, but recovered unbroken the same day.Classroom is still not silent, but we are making progress, thanks to Ms. Hush to point to.KSchmitz

I was expecting a more gritty, concrete like texture and while this doesn’t have that, it is textured. It came really well packaged and seems to be great quality.

Statue arrived late and broken in multiple places with an odd hole formation at the base, that looks like it was made during manufacturing.
