Way darker, almost black...
It was easy to use...and works well....But way dark....Almost black....It says light brown....There is nothing light about it, and really...its hard to call it brown...its neither, calling it light brown is far from what it is, it's not even dark brown....it's like black with a dark brownish hue to it...other than it being nowhere close to light brown...its good....

Wonderful perfect hair color but I’m such an idiot thinking that it was the wrong color because the number 2 on the little dye bottle is the mix order (not the dye color). I complained to Amazon and now feel like a total idiot but in reality I’m a total senile 70 year old idiot!!! I owe you one Amazon and THANK YOU for the great great great customer service.Celeste

Super happy. It does exactly what it says it does. It covers gray well but leaves luminous blond highlights. Unlike other hair dyes, it did not leave my hair looking all one flat color. Witch craft or amazing R and D team?
