Fascinations Metal Earth Doctor Who Gold Dalek 3D Metal Model Kit

Had to have this piece for my collection. This turned out better than expected. The gold metal is softer than the silver metal puzzles. Take care when bending or twisting. This is one sheet and easy, but I broke some of the tabs when twisting them. I also broke one of the pieces that you bend to make a square tube, but was able to hide it when I put it together.

I made this as a birthday gift for my son and he LOVES it! It was hard, especially since it was my first, but I soon got the hang of it.

As a lifelong Dr. Who fan I was looking forward to this build and it didn't disappoint. The parts aren't magnetic which makes it seem even more like real gold. Love this one

Okay so.... This should come with a WARNING label: MAY CAUSE EXTREME STRESS. Hahahaha I feel like I need blood pressure medication after this. After an hour and 30 minutes we did complete this metal puzzle. It was difficult, of course we have never done a puzzle like this before, I broke 2 pieces while assembling and it was Hard in my opinion. It was just so tiny! It's so cute once you build it. It did indeed take blood, sweat, and tears tho.

My husband loves putting these Metal Earth kits together. I only wish we could get a hold of the manufacturer to see about purchasing them in bulk!

This is great for people who like 3d puzzles or models and love Star Trek: The Next Generation. My 12 and 14 year old nephews loved them and sat down to put them together until they were completed. They recommend tweezers or Needle Nose pliers to bend the tabs and I highly recommend them. There are some pieces that are small so be careful and patient and you will have a great piece when you are done.

i love the concept, but even being as gentle as possible, the pieces would break at places where they should have bent.

Maquette très sympa, parfaite pour débuter chez metal earth assez simple. Beaucoup de détails très appréciables, un métal de qualité (plus épais que je ne le pensais, mais tout de même fragile). Prévoir tout de même quelques outils indispensables : - une pince à épiler, - une petite pince à nez long, - un coupe ongle/pince coupante à ras très fine pour détacher les pièces, - une petite bille pour la tête, Je conseille un tapis de souris et des objets coniques/cylindriques pour arrondir les pièces, cela permet d'avoir une belle courbe facilement. Prévoir éventuellement de la colle cyanoacrylate aucazou des éléments cassent ou bougent un peu trop car pas assez serrées. Le canon laser est assez difficile à mouler car l'arrondi est très serré mais doit rester assez large pour le bouchon. Attention à celleux qui achètent ces maquettes pour des enfants, cela demande tout de même de la précision et de la patience, rappelons que la maquette finie ne fait que deux phallanges de haut !! A la fin, le rendu est top, l'objet est détaillé et la petite maquette en métal est très agréable à regarder et ne prend pas de place ! Qui n'a jamais rêvé d'avoir son petit dalek miniature ? :O En plus le doré est de toute beauté !

This one was pretty easy. Hardesr part is to get the small round tubes for the ”arms” round. Tip is to use the back part of a small drill bit to roll it around. I don’t have any other gold models (yet), so it sure strands out
