Everything you need for the perfect tortoise nail in 1 set!
I purchased this GAOY set specifically for creating tortoise nails because I loved that it included all of the colors I needed in one set. The shades are perfect for creating different variations of that warm fall tortoise look, and I love the jelly finish. The consistency is exactly what I want from a jelly polish. They aren’t too thick, they self-level beautifully, and I always end up with a smooth, seamless finish. The colors are also very buildable. One coat gives you a lighter, more translucent jelly look, while a second coat deepens the color without taking away that beautiful jelly effect. I especially love having the different amber, brown and warmer tones together because I can layer them to create so much depth in a tortoise design. I’ve included photos showing the colors with one coat, two coats, and a finished tortoise design I created with them. I love how versatile these shades are, and this set will definitely be getting a lot of use during fall!

Gorgeous colors but….
Disregard my dusty area lol, I was playing with glitter prior. Photo 1 above is with iPhone 14 flash, photo 2 is no flash but my lamp is crappy lol. It’s a 6 pack set, bottles are kinda small (for those that don’t understand measurements like me 😂), but I think the price is good. There’s no overpowering smell. Application is fine. Streakiness can occur but I feel like that’s with any gel polish, thankfully these aren’t as thick as some gels I’ve tried. I did see some reviews about the polish not drying... I personally had no issue with it, maybe they’re talking about the tacky layer?? It goes away after top coat or you can wipe with rubbing alcohol. So now I will say what my “but” was for in the title. There are 2 colors that I personally don’t care for. 1318 and 1352 (the middle one on the nail holder and the bottom right one). One is orangey which I don’t understand why companies keep including it in nudes as it’s too orange to me. The second is a pale pale pink, almost white pink. I’m a fairly pale person and I don’t think that would even look good on my skin tone. The other 4 colors are great and I’ll definitely get tons of use out of them. I’ve been practicing soft and hard gel applications and I feel like it’s kinda hard finding good nude colors. I purchased another brand like a month ago, it was also a 6 pack and like double the price. All the colors were unusable as they all looked orange. Unsure if I got a bad batch or what but I noticed in many of the recent reviews people had complained so I’m glad I found this brand. I would definitely buy again! Also if anyone is wondering how many coats I used.. these were “2 coats.” I applied a thin “slip” layer first, cured it for 60 seconds then went back in and added a bit thicker of a layer, side swiping the polish back and forth. Hopefully that makes sense. The tips are a bit more see through because I just brush up like normal on the second coat so I don’t bulk up the tips and sides. If I wasn’t doing a French design or something to cover the tip and the transparentness bothers you, you can definitely build the color up more. Also if the paint job looks crappy, it’s my fault. I’m still new to all this. I’ve been getting acrylics for the past 14 years faithfully, I recently switched to doing my own gel nails.

Finally a single coat chip resistent gel polish for my nails
✅️ good with single coat great with 2 coats. ✅️ cures very well under most uv lights - havent had issues ✅️ black is great under chrome powders with a single coat. Bought these to use under chrome powders and was very impressed with coverage. A single coat is perfect. If using as stand alone colors 2 coats gives complete opaquness and excellent coverage. One coat is still pretty good. We should all know how thick multiple layers of uv cured gel polish can get. Very chip resistence, i am not gentle with working with my hands, in water, using power tools, sewing... im rough with my hands and no chipping. This amazed me as so many polishes chip within the first day. Figured i was cursed to never have a perfect manicure ever because I need to use my hands to work (im a licensed cosmetologist on top of all my hobbies so my hands can get wrecked) Used 3 different lights to cure (60 secs each) and each time it cured completely, hard but not brittle, no wipe top coat over top cured 90 secs and no issues since the pervious color coat cured so well. Will be looking into other colors from this brand as i think Ive found my go to for colors Oh and the black single coat under chrome powders is amazing it gives just enough coverage to really make the chrome powders shine, weirdly 2 coats will actually make chrome powders look duller in shine/mirror effect. As with anything, prepping your nails is key and there is no fool proof way, you need to find what works for you. For me because my nails tend to be extra oily I do 2 coats dehydration liquid (can just be acetone if you have that) and 1 coat adhesion primer (i use modelones) and gel polishes sticks well (this polish sticks the absolute best), good prep for your nail type means less chipping and less peeling (done right and you’ll have a manicure that outlasts your nail growth)

All similar colors in pack
Beautiful polish. Perfect subtle summer colors. Just be aware that the 6 colors are very close in shading, just a very small difference between the lightest and the darkest colors in this 6 bottle package.

Gorgeous jelly colors!
I love this 6pc Jelly Green Spring Summer nail color set! My tips have 2 coats on them and I feel they are accurate to the photos shown. Very easy to use, good consistency, and definitely have that shiny jelly look!

Cute
Some are very light in color nude pinks are cute. They didn’t dry easy with my UV light I had to do them a few times

Low color pigments
The color pigments are too low so they are really hard to seems like at the picture. You need to apply too many coats. That makes it end up very thick.
