Needed a solder gun to replace the thermistor on my salt water pool control circuit board worked like a champ. One star removed because the cap for the solder tube was missing.

This is a great little kit that has several useful tools and all at an affordable price. I been working with some racing multirotors and this little kit has helped quite a bit. Those curved tweezers are very handy for holding wires in place to solder to a board and that solder sucker is also really nice. The spring loaded action at a button press will suck up the molten solder off your board, very simple and easy to use.I also like the different picks included, I used some of the finer ones to remove wire pins from the casings and it worked really well.Overall I love this kit and it has really helped me out in my hobby!

I purchased this kit as a replacement for my Harbor Freight special that finally bit the dust. This kit is a great value for your money and comes with every tool imaginable for your projects. What I like best is the variable temperature adjustment. I like that the handle has a decent grip on it and it is non slip. The different tips make it easy to use. Best of all is that it all comes in a nice carrying case. I have lost nearly everything that came with my HF special, so it is nice to know that as long as I put things back in the case, I shouldn't ever lose anything with this kit.

I am very satisfied with this purchase. I got this item while replacing rear view camera. It was easier to solder a few wires than ordering a few custom made harnesses. The kit contains everything one needs for a quick and easy soldering. It has a few interchangeable tips, temperature control is right there, a couple of forceps, and even a vacuum tool. And, another advantage - everything in the case, so you can keep all these tiny tools in one place.Overall, it is a very good tool for all - beginners or folks with experience.
