Great long range scope
I use this scope for hunting prairie dogs and gophers at extreme ranges for such small targets. I have been using subsonic ammo exclusively as I shoot a suppressed rifle. The scope is amazing . It has doubled the usable range with my rifle and a friends . We use 3/4 " pool chalk cubes for practice out to 125 yds and they are easy. Combined with a laser range finder you can double that distance on pests like gophers. The best and fastest scope on the target I have ever seen. The only con I can say is I wish the glass was of better quality for low light shooting. I would pay twice this price for one with better glass , but as is , it is the best 22lr scope for daytime hunting and rapidly changing conditions. With 1050ft fps 40grain ammo my rifle is spot on out to 100yds and then slightly low beyond that. I just add on 10yds to ranges beyond 100 yds and it is right on out to the 190 yd subsonic mark. I believe that might be to the fact on how high above the bore your scope is mounted. As my friends rifle is spot on.

Not all it could be.........
Purchased the 22.lr Version......................................................for a Savage MKII BRJ.PF has a good story to tell...this scope will do everything..Ya right. It is well made the optics are bright.Needs to be a 4x16 IMO.The problem is ....it never delivered the performance. I tested it with 5 types of Std V , 5 low v and 5 HV ammo. and only one came close to being near the marks at range. I called PF and spoke with the rep on several occasions . Not once did I ever feel as though I was given the complete story and every time the cause as too why it was not right was pushed back on me to discover.I spoke to the owner....Found out the unit was developed using a number of trajectory apps and then tested on a 10/22 = 18.5" Barrel. Savage has a 21" barrel.. I would think all my shots would be high..No ...they all came up short. Way short...STD Velocity required a 115 yard holdover at 100 yards. Again, it was consistent with 5 types of ammo.I called again ,and buy the end of the conversation it was put on me to find out why= being told to go chronograph the different rounds...I think not. I informed the them I would not do their R&D for them end of conversation and Back it went.I would hate to have too find out how they handle warranty.I guess the old saying --- " If it sounds too good to be true".........
