Natural Sleep Aid, Hyland's 4 Kids Calm 'n Restful Calms Forte, Relief of Insomnia and Restlessness for Children, 125 Sleeping Tablets

I read a lot of reviews before trying these on my daughter. I also ran it by the GP and even though they said "It wont work, it's a load of nonsense" they agreed it would not hurt her in any way to try them. My daughter is 6, Autistic and struggles with anxiety especially at night. She finds it impossible to switch off sometimes and this increases her anxiety so it's a nasty circle. The first night we tried them she was calmer and went to sleep easier than she had for years. They seem to just take the 'edge' off and help her switch off enough to relax and go to sleep. Within 2 or 3 days she was managing to fall asleep by 9.30am (early for her!) and many nights she stayed asleep. Have used them a few times now including if we are about to go somewhere that I know will send the anxiety high. She won't take tablets of any kind but these dissolve under the tongue for those kids that will take them. For her, I pop them in her drink and they seem to work enough that way for us :)

It's no miracle cure. But does help my son carm down and go to sleep quicker. He is very hyperactive and even with his bed time routine it takes over an hour and a lot of stress on me to get him to sleep. I have found that taking these tablets he goes to sleep easier and I'm not a stressed getting him to go to sleep.

This product will not be a miracle cure to your child going to sleep. You need to put a good bedtime routine in place, no TV for an hour at least before bed. Create a calm excitement free time zone for them. My 2 1/2 year old was fine going to bed fine, just waking up 2-6 times a night. These tablets we used an hour before bedtime, then after bath and story time. We went from a night of 6 wake ups to just 1, which was around midnight. The nights that followed were all 1 or 2 wake ups. We've had probably a handful of all-nighters off him since he was 6 months, so the large block of sleep we are now getting through using these is worth every penny.As I said, this product is no miracle cure, but for us it has helped no end and both me and my wife have had more sleep in the last week than the last 6 months.

Didn't work for us but I'm sure it will work for some if only a placebo

I can't fault this product, I've had trouble getting my 6 year old who has autism to switch off and sleep. Two doses out of the eight and he is out like a light and having to be woken for school. He is so much calmer and enjoying life so much more for having a good night's sleep. Highly recommended!

Taste great but does not do what claims to do. Child after this does not settle down. Not worth it the money

Thought it was great We had to hold it to melt in her mouth as she hard to understand what we ask of her good for them with additional needs it help lot to calm I try them my self as I have autism to and I have 4 =1dous for full grown and I was struggling to fight it

I use this product to help my daughter go to sleep as she has sleeping problems and doesn't go to sleep until 12 and 1 in the morning I gave them at 8 at night and she was asleep by 9.20

First of all, the reviews that have said not to buy this because of the toxic ingredient aconitum napellus have fundamentally misunderstood homeopathy. Homeopathic ingredients are not therapeutic in the typical sense. Often, toxic substances are used and processed in such a way that they are diluted down to the most minimal form, unrecognizable to the human body as toxic. Homeopathy is not an antidote; it is based on the concept that “like cures like”. For example, my homeopathic treatments for chronic Lyme disease involve homeopathic tinctures containing borrelia burgdorferi, the actual bacteria transmitted by ticks containing the disease. It is processed and diluted down in such a way that it helps the body essentially fight fire with fire (a very tiny, diluted, harmless fire). This is a vast oversimplification of homeopathy, but the intent is to let you know that aconitum napellus as a homeopathic ingredient is NOT toxic. It is perfectly safe in this form.Now for my review—these tablets are a MIRACLE. My naturopath recommended them for my 7-week-old baby (I know they say 2+ but my naturopath said it was safe—I cannot give medical advice so please consult a professional before you make your decision to give this to a child under 2) and he was an unrecognizable different baby in a matter of minutes. He has been extremely fussy and seems constantly hungry his whole life, but the first day I gave it to him, he seemed to be satisfied after breastfeeding the rest of the day and needed only four ounces of supplemental formula throughout the day (he usually takes 6-9 through the day). He also had plenty of wet and poopy diapers so I know he wasn’t just losing his appetite. He was awake and alerts for hours at a time without screaming (he’s still not a great sleeper but he used to scream constantly unless he was eating). He slept peacefully through the night and woke up calmly to feed, and fell back asleep easily.Bottom line—I don’t leave reviews often (or really ever), and homeopathy is a hit or miss game for me, but I am so so excited about these tablets and couldn’t pass up the chance to give them the credit they deserve.

Bought this in hopes that my 5 y.o. (who is little hyperactive) will sleep better on the airplane. Our flight was 9 hours, and on the way there I forgot to give her this medicine (had a baby on my hands), although we we flying at the night time she slept less than two hours... But on the way back I remembered to give it to her, and was amazed how she was sleeping for almost whole flight. Roughly 6 hours, I couldn't believe it! And I have to mention it was a daytime flight, so I think this homeopathic medicine helped my kid beautifully! Worth a try.

Very happy with my purchased. Helped my older boy (10 years old) sleep better and calm him at bedtime.

So first off let me state if you are unfamiliar with homeopathic remedies: And hear work great for some and not much or at all for others. Everybody is different and depending on some factors you need a different herb or mix then others. These premixed blends won't always be the best choice for certain people. I prefer other remedies than homeopathic tbh but Camellia from boiron worked AMAZING for my little teething demon.So I figured for only 5 bucks I could give these a try before trying a more expensive brand. You get ALOT of them too. My 3 year old wildling has refused naps for at least a year and been staying up until 11 on average for at least a month. I'm desperate and will not use melatonin. These calm her for sure and if I give 4 at once twice it'll help her to sleep a bit but it's not the right one for her sadly. But definitely worth a try! Might try it using the wet dose method and see if it helps. Google homeopathic wet dose if you aren't sure what it is.So I'm bummed it didn't work but it happens. I don't have access to a homeopathic doctor but if I did I'd definitely see one to figure out the best combo for her.For now, I'll just be silently crying for 3 hours while trying to put her to sleep. Jk. Kinda.But seriously, they are worth a shot and DO really help calm them down. But if you feed your child sugar all day don't expect a remedy to fix that.

This really seems to help and my daughter doesn’t mind taking it as long as I tell her she’s a magician and has to make it disappear ! It would be nice if I didn’t have to give it to her every 15 mins because I don’t have time to keep giving it to her nor the memory, but when I do and she doesn’t get tired of me keep giving them to her then they seem to work nicely !
