Batteries came dead despite the plastic insert to "save" them. Didn't keep my 8 yr old daughter engaged long but it was something she had specifically asked for for her birthday. It's cute and fluffy and I think younger kids would enjoy it more.

I bought this for my grand daughter and it has never worked right. The cheeks have never glowed red nor does it hug her arm so it must have come broken. I went to change the batteries and there was battery acid all on the inside.

Such soft fur, cute sounds. Both my boys love it. Arms and legs are stiff and hard but they are made that way to open up and clasp around your arm. To switch off the purring, press and hold its nose. There is no switch to off it's sounds.
