I was worried the top would be scratchie, but it wasn't. I'll have to add longer velcro or pins to the obi to get into tighten all the way, as it's too big, but the rest fits very well. My daughter is 60" tall and weighs about 105lbs. She fits anywhere from a girl's 14/16 to a women's 6, depending on the brand. I bought a petticoat to fluff it out and haven't seen it in without that, soni don't know how the skirt would lay without it. It looks like it would be okay but she likes the fluff. I would buy her every color if she doesn't grow much bigger.
