I love the smell of opium perfume does it smell like opium perfume?

No. It is a pale copy, lacking all the warm notes, and only hitting on a few of the spice ones. It fades quickly and leaves a harsh chemical smell on the skin. I use it as a room fragrancer, but even then it fades, but no chemical afterburn. Hope that helps. I love the old Opium, too, but this was not even close.
