I have five 1‑year‑old cats, and they absolutely love this brush. They literally head‑butt each other to get their turn. The wooden handle is smooth and easy to grip — which is important when you’re brushing five cats in a row. The boar bristles are dense and do a great job pulling up loose fur while still being gentle. I use a rat‑tailed comb to clean the brush, and it works perfectly. My cats purr, roll around, and melt into the bed when I use it. Their coats look so shiny and soft afterward. This brush has become part of our daily routine, and I’d highly recommend it to any cat lover. It’s well‑made, comfortable to use, and clearly a hit with the cats.

My cat absolutely detested getting brushed before getting this! Now it’s his favorite thing ever! He doesn’t mind when we use it down his back and he actually PURS! It’s insane the difference this brush makes! It’s made his fur silky smooth and really does distribute the oils correctly and help him shine! I can totally tell the difference in his ego after using this brush! The box did come with a warning that the brush sheds and it lasted through the first 5 or so times we brushed him but it works really well! I definitely recommend this and would buy it again and again! Price was worth it!!

Very cat friendly!!!! My cats love it, even the kitten who was scared of the bigger plastic bristle brush I have. However, it doesn’t get as much hair as I would like compared to the plastic ones.

My cats love this brush! The other brush I had been using on them for years they all of a sudden stopped liking it and would walk away from me. Ordered this boar brush and they just love it. When I brush my senior cat the younger cat rushes up and wants in on the action. They even do little horsey jumps to get their face brushed. If you are a cat parent you know what the cat horsey jump is. These cats even roll on their backs and want their belly brushed. The seller had a nice set of instructions in the box that said some boar bristles will fall out upon the first use and that is true and I’m glad they included that note card with the product. I don’t see them falling out much anymore. The handle is a little small so if you have big hands this could be an issue. The brush is very light weight. The cat’s coats look really nice after brushing them. Cats are happy with this, I’m happy with it. Highly recommend this brush.

Me and my cat loves this brush. We struggled bad with shedding so I upped her protein intake(wet diet) and used this brush everyday for 2 weeks. Shedding is mostly gone. This isn’t a take the hair off that cat kind of brush it’s for your cats natural oils and spreads it evenly her coat is more shiny and soft now.

So happy with my purchase, which was delivered much sooner than expected. My cat, who I've always struggled to brush, absolutely loves it. In fact when I get it out she is positively excited, and will happily sit/lay and allow me to brush her, purring all the while. Whilst it cost a little more than I would normally spend, it was well worth it.

I like the brush. I can feel comfortable brushing my cat's cheeks without having a perfectly clear shot of doing it based on how she's laying. When I brush her I can feel confident that the bristles are not going to scratch her gums if I'm brushing near her mouth or scratch anywhere too close to her eyes like other brushes can. This won't cause any harm which is what I was looking for. It makes her hair really nice and soft. She really enjoys it. She enjoys this brush more when it comes to brushing her cheeks than any other brush that I have. And she enjoys it on her body as well. Quality of the brush. Posts are saying that people had bristles fall out. I never experienced that this brush is nice and solid. And as for the posts that say that it doesn't take hair out of their cat, it does for me anyways. This does a nice job of taking hair out. Yes, you have to brush your cat everyday, just like you were supposed to brush your own hair everyday. This brush is not going to be as aggressive in the hair removing as other brushes will be, but it still does remove a lot of hair that over time I did notice that when I went to pet her she had less hair coming out just from my hand running down her body. And I have noticed that she has a lot less dander since I've started using this brush. My cat has kidney disease and unfortunately she's just going to have dander now due to the food I think. I don't know what causes it but all of my cats that had kidney disease all had dander. This brush seems to helps with that. Don't notice as much anymore. I use a comb to clean out the brush. I am quite happy with this purchase. I was a little worried looking at the reviews when I bought it. But I'm glad that I did. Side note. I've been brushing her for a few days for the brush to look like this. I've already cleaned it out once since I've gotten it and it's looking due for a second cleanout. I do use another brush that I bought from Amazon that I really like as well Hartz black handle purple head. That's I guess diamond shaped is the best way to describe. It looks like a square that had two points kind of squished together a little bit. I like this one as well for getting the cheek area. She likes both these brushes

I like this product because it works very well for grooming face and ears, chin and neck. The size of the brush is small, but this is a positive when doing detail face work with speed. The boar bristle does add sheen, and has a good combination of stiffness and softness. I have 8 rescue cats indoors in the winter, and they all agree this is a treat, good grooming stimulation. My only complaint is price, but I guess the quality is worth it, and boar bristle is rare?
