Can't go wrong with this
I've had this exact model for 20+ years until I lost it. It was my main drawing tool all this time. Never had any issues. This is a Lead holder that will last a lifetime. I was really happy that I could buy this here to replace mine. After all these years the model is absolutely identical to the one I had. Glad I got a replacement.

Beefy and versatile
This lead holder is built solid, yet it's not excessively heavy. The 'Adapto' refers to its ability to grasp some larger than 2mm leads. Because of this flexibility, I can use it to hold Tombow Mono Zero eraser refills, and the silicone tips I've ripped out of my color shapers. Impressed with the quality.

Almost as good as its original

Great pencil
I've used several different lead holders and this one is by far my favorite, with the Staedtler Mars Technico coming in 2nd place. This pencil is heavier and feels better in my hand than the Staedtler, but that of course is a matter of preference. This pencil is very sturdy and has a nice grip to it. This is an old school clutch pencil and doesnt have a clip, and the cap isn’t a manual lead pointer like most lead holders. Personally that doesn’t matter to me, all I care about is the pencil itself and its performance, and this is a fine piece of craftsmanship. Highly recommended.

Color is not what is shown...
This functions really well. But please be aware that the color in the image at the time I purchased this product is incorrect. I thought this would be the color of a classic no. 2 pencil, instead it has a yellow-green tone. I asked the seller if that was normal or if it was discolored and they confirmed it was normal. If anyone else's pencil looks a different color, I'd love to know :) Thanks! EDIT: It seems they have updated the product image to show the correct color :) Thanks! I'm sure buyers will be grateful for this.
