The Jumbo Thread Detective Thread Identifier is a precise and easy-to-use thread identifier for both nuts and bolts, consisting of gliding gauges conveniently assembled onto a wire lanyard. It is especially well suited for distinguishing between similar Inch and Metric threads. Our Thread Detective is equipped with a 3-3/8" (85 mm) ruler for measuring stud lengths. For your convenience we provide extra long wire rope for those hard to reach places, as well as loops on each end for convenient hanging. Our Jumbo Thread Checker can be purchased in Inch Only and Metric Only Strands as well as a combination unit containing both strands. Very handy and saves time
It's difficult the determine the number of threads on bolts and this device does it very well. Allows users to order the proper bolt replacement without making a special trip to a hardware store.
