Keeps rug from slipping
We had a problem with the sofas slipping when the grandkids were visiting. This pad keeps the rug in place and keeps the sofa from moving.

Not extra thick.
The description is just wrong. It's not extra thick, not even a little bit. It's the thinnest rug pad I've ever seen. The price is ok, though I feel like rug pads in general are weirdly expensive. It works for us though, and I'm glad I didn't really need a thick pad. I hope this is helpful so if you are looking for something to add extra padding, look elsewhere.

Cheap
It was supposed to be 10x16 but it’s doubled so it’s really 20x32. I left it doubled and it still way to big for my rug. The rug slides around on it.

Carpet still move’s on pad.
It will work but have to straight the carpet once in a while.
