Only for the manufacturer: is the new odor control formula new for 2018? has the horrible odor issue been resolved?

I just called the manufacturer and asked about the odor before I bought a refill  She said that the formula was changed in the past year (today is 2/19/2020) and does have an odor.  After reading the comments about the disgusting odor, I'm going to a different product.  It is really too bad as I have used Natures Miracle for years and really liked it.

Question 2

What does the quantity "4/128" mean? Does that mean 4 gallons (each gallon = 128 oz)? Or 4 quart bottles (total = 128 oz)? Etc.

Can you use this in a carpet cleaning machine?

I th ink the website for the product gives complete  instructions, but I don't believe so.  Actually, I put it into a l pressure garden sprayer to get a controlled spray and hit the spots where it was worst.  I think it gave me a better, more even spread.  Good product, just not enough to get the smell complete out of that part of my funky carpet.  Must have been the fiber of the material because I believe the chemistry of the process is spot on. BTW, I said in my previous review that I put down kitty litter to absorb some of the excess moisture and some of the chemical smell. DON'T DO THAT.  I found later that the cat thought it was HIS litter and christened it.  Pets! Can't live without them, Pass the rug cleaner. lol

Is the 'original formula' option to buy the unscented one?

I don’t understand your question. I am not aware of ‘scented’ and ‘unscented’ versions of this product. I can say that I really like the scent of Nature’s Miracle. However, because you MUST saturate the peed carpet and then let the solution evaporate, the scent is initially quite strong. But after the carpet completely dries, the scent fades away.
