BDF NSN70 Window Film Transparent Ultra High Heat Rejection & UV Cut NSN 70 (Very Light) - 36in X 7ft

I purchase the BDF NSN70 Window Film Transparent Ultra High Heat Rejection & UV Cut NSN 70 (Very Light) so YMMV. My use case was simple — I wanted a non reflective film to repel heat/sunlight on my single paned glass storm door to prevent my 100 year old wooden front door from sustaining heat and sun damage. The instructions and video were helpful, but you’d have to be Bob Vila to affix this properly, although I did a pretty good job all things considered. After proper application, the film does bubble, even days later, and that would be the lease of my worries, other than it seemingly just doesn’t seem to do anything. Perhaps it repels certain spectrum of light but it certainly doesn’t repel heat to the touch. My door is hotter than ever. I haven’t used equipment to test it or anything, but I know hot when I feel it. Thankfully I bought some car windows shades and will just Jerry rig a viable alternative. Also need to figure out how to remove this film without ruining my custom storm door.

Product itself is okay. But installing this was a nightmare. I screwed up so bad and it looked so bad in the end that I just had to throw it all away. Was blurry when I tried to look through it, had so many air bubbles and then creases when trying to get them out. Kudos to those who can actually install this! You guys are magical!

I have used a free window films over time and this was one of the top films I have used. It went on well and is very transparent as well as it does a fantastic job blocking radiant heat from the sun. I used this film on my storm door for that very reason and I would recommend it to anyone. Super easy to install and the energy I’ll save by blocking the radiant heat will be awesome. I plan on ordering more and using it on my windows next!

Not good. Did not protect the heat from the sun. Easy to install. Can’t return it either so waste of money.

I was able to apply the film by myself. Another person certainly would have made it easier. The key is keeping the window and film on both sides wet. The primary purpose of this purchase was to decrease the temperature between my front door storm door. I do not feel any reduction in temperature after applying this film. I do not agree with the claim in the product description of a 45% reduction in temperature.
