they look so pretty and they write soooooo smooth. I write small so i like to keep my pencils super sharp and out of all the pencils i use, these ones write the smoothest and stay sharp the longest. kinda expensive for 4 pencils tho but i will be ordering more

I love them. They are great quality and a pleasure to use.

These are good-looking pencils. The all-black aesthetic is genuinely striking, and they come in a nice little travel case that gives them a premium presentation. If you're buying them for looks, they absolutely deliver. Once you actually start using them, though, the illusion fades a bit. They're made in China, and while there's nothing inherently wrong with that, they don't have the refined fit and feel of a premium Japanese Mitsubishi pencil or a German Staedtler. The wood, finish, sharpening, and writing experience are all perfectly acceptable, but nothing stands out as exceptional. The biggest issue is the price. These cost more than Mitsubishi Hi-Uni pencils, which, in my opinion, are about the finest pencils ever made. That's a tough comparison to survive. The Hi-Uni isn't just a little better. It's better in almost every measurable way, from lead consistency to sharpening to overall craftsmanship. So you're paying a premium here, but most of that premium seems to be for the aesthetic rather than the writing experience. They're not bad pencils. They look cool on a desk, they'll start conversations, and they'll certainly write. But if your goal is simply to own the best pencil your money can buy, I'd save the money and buy Mitsubishi Hi-Uni or a quality Staedtler instead. Style: 10/10. Value: much harder sell.

Bit pricey but nice pencils

If you're like me, you love black. And if you can have every single accessory in black, you will. That's what led me to to search for these pencils, and they did not disappoint. Functionally, they're good pencils. Aesthetically, they're bad ass pencils.
