Is the cross & jesus 2 separate materials? How is it attached to the cross?

The figure of our crucified Lord and the (real double-sided) St. Benedict medallion are metal while the cross Is varnished wood. The figure itself seems to be attached to the wood with the actual brass-colored metal nails correspondIng to the crucifixion wounds. It’s one of the best I’ve encountered, mass-produced, at any price. Have it blessed by a Catholic priest and you’re all set to pray your devotions.

is this a tabletop or wall mount?

Both. Either. I use mine as tabletop. But the crucifix easily pulls out of the base, and has a hole on the back for a wall mount.
