Great Price, Great Quality and Great Customer Service!
This may end up being my biggest review posted, but it has a great outcome. I ended up purchasing 2 of these mounts because of the price and figured if one works then I'll use the other in my room for the TV. So I have a 55" Insignia I have been wanting to set up in our dining room with a full swivel mount so we can turn it multiple angles. I read the reviews and saw some people say they set up their 55" TV and it worked fine and some complained about it. I researched my TV's weight and realized I would be fine and took my chance. The day I got the stand I set it up that night. I did the full process, setting up an idea of where the TV would go, measuring everything, making sure everything was straight and leveled, etc. I wanted this to be perfect, well once we installed the mount (which let me say was very easy, lightweight and came with all the equipment) I leveled everything and it looked perfect. Once we placed the TV on, it was very crooked and I was so upset. But once measuring and tightening up the ball joint on the back I came to think maybe it was a bad mount. The next day I reached out to customer service and sent them pictures and expressed I triple checked everything! I have dealt with some customer service reps that are not helpful or just say send it back we will reimburse you. These guys wanted to make sure I was well taken care of so they told me they would send me a different style mount that would be able to do the same things just instead of a single arm it was a dual arm for the mount. I went ahead and told them my studs were 16" apart and they sent it to me in 2 days!! Here's where I get embarrassed, once I got it, I wanted to set it up at home right away. I started to get everything ready and measure my studs distance and make sure everything was straight, then I came to realize... my studs were 24" apart! Now I felt ridiculous, so I emailed customer support, expressed my situation and told them it was my fault and I would pay for the new one and shipping because all I wanted was my TV on a wall mount. They told me not to worry and send back the one they sent me and they would send out another one with 24" stud points. I was amazed that they were doing all of this so I could be a happy customer. Well sure enough 3 days later, get the new wall mount and set it up right away. I will say it was a lot heavier than the one I am reviewing about but in the end if worked perfect, my TV is on a wall mount with their product and I could not be happier! I have gotten many friends to like it and told them about the experience. Also I ended up setting up the wall mount (that I thought was defective) in our bedroom for our 42" LG and again very easy to do and our TV looks great... I don't think the mount was bad just think my 55" TV may have been too big and possibly the weight was uneven for the TV. I have attached some pictures to show how our 42" LG TV looked on the wall mount, as you can see it can almost come to a full turn which is perfect for us because one picture is our view from our bed. Long story short, if you are looking for a wall mount, I would get this not just for the price but the quality and customer service. Honestly I'd pay whatever price due to customer service, because now I feel no matter what I pay they are going to take care of me. And for that, I thank them with my business and all future business as well.

Great Value!
I'm one of those nerds that do two weeks worth of research before buying a ballpoint pen and buying a TV mount was no exception. I scoured through dozens and dozens of wall mounts and finally settled on this Cheetah mount. I read all of the negative and positive reviews and decided that for the price it was worth a try (I paid $30.33). I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy the mount was. This wall mount was so solid that I believe it could have easily supported a much larger and heavier TV set. Yes, it was a bit tough to move at first as some reviewers noted but I would much rather it be too tough to move than too loose. In any case, it did quickly loosen up to where it was easy enough for my wife to move, yet it still stayed 'firm' enough to hold the desired position. I did not find the construction flimsy at all as some noted, quite the contrary it was durable and heavy. Installation was really easy and while I am pretty handy the directions were simple enough for anyone to follow; in fact I found it so easy that I installed the mount and TV by myself (of course the TV only weighed about 25 lbs). Once a stud was located the mount was rock solid. It was nice to be able to move our older 32 inch Olevia in any direction (up, down, side to side, in, out). I really wanted an articulating arm and this did the trick. The bolt pattern on the back matched up to the obscure pattern on our TV just fine. The HDMI cable and the level made it an even better value. One reviewer noted this his TV dipped to one side. My TV dipped also, but it was easily fixed when I slightly tightened the silver nut on the back of the up/down swivel. It has held a perfect level ever since. I ordered the Hol-E-Cap wall cover kit to give a really clean look to hide the wires behind our drywall (this also was a great value and easy to install). I waited for six months before writing this review and I have moved the TV all over in various directions and it has held great every time. Not a single issue since installation. If you are looking for a great TV wall mount and do not want to pay hundreds of dollars than this wall mount is for you.

400mm VESA TV's - Fixed
Update 2-24-2016: Cheetah Mounts has re-engineered this mount and they sent me one of their new models to test. The VESA hole pattern issue has been fixed. They also fixed the issue I mentioned with the A/B markings and the instructions have been updated and are now easy to understand. Kudos to Cheetah Mounts for listening to their customers and making the appropriate adjustments. Clearly this company stands behind their product and they don't want to settle for anything less than a perfect customer satisfaction. In my opinion, they have fixed everything they needed to with this mount and I'm recommending it as an excellent product now plus increasing my rating to 5 stars. Original review: If you need the extensions to fit a standard 400 VESA pattern you're in for some frustration. The build quality is poor on the extensions. 2 of the 4 extensions were fine but the holes one one extension was slightly off making it barely possible to get the bolt into one of the holes. The final extension had one hole drilled way off, it wasn't even close and impossible to mount. I ended up using a drill and a file to ream out two of the hole to get them to align enough to get the bolts in. Even then I had to leave all the bolts on the extensions loose to get it to line up with the mounting holes on the TV. Over an hour later I finally got the extensions and mount attached to the TV. I read all the other reviews and made the choice to pull the pivot bolt in the center to more easily get it on the wall. I bolted on the half of the mount that attached to the TV first. Getting it on the wall is at least a 2 person job, one to hold the TV and the other to slide the pivot pin/bolt back in. It would have been impossible to mount the TV as the instructions indicated which would have been to screw the bolts through the extensions into the TV once the whole mount was attached to the wall. Once the TV is on the wall the mount works fine. There are screws to adjust the tension on the pivot ball to keep the TV from sagging and the mount is sturdy enough to hold my 37 pound TV. My advice to buyers is if you have a smaller TV that won't need the extensions, buy this mount. If you have a larger VESA pattern that will need the extensions buy something else. My advice to the manufacturer is to fix your extensions and pay attention to the build quality. Also improve the instructions. The extensions are marked with and A and a B but no matching A and B anywhere else including no mention of this in the instructions. If there is some kind of trick to making this work easier you should make a Youtube video to show people how although I'd prefer to just have more clear instructions that includes simple information like how to know what is right side up for the extensions. The next time you design a mount, take a look at your competition and design a way to easily attach the TV to the mount once the mount is on the wall and you'll have a far better product. My TV is a 37 pound 51 inch Samsung plasma. There are several things that are good about this mount but these don't outweigh the frustration of getting this mount to work; 1. It comes with a nice HDMI cable. This is a great plus for the price. 2. It comes with a level. Didn't need it but still a nice plus. 3. It comes with a small push button LED that can be hung on the back of the TV to illuminate labels on the TV. 4. The mount is made of heavy gauge steel and I found it very sturdy even for a 51 inch TV. 5. It comes with a Velcro cable tie. 6. The mount is cheap and ships free with Amazon Prime. I've paid more than the cost of this mount just for shipping when I've bought other mounts.

Worked great for me
Bought this to hang a 32", 10lb LED TV on my bedroom wall. It works and I think it's pretty secure with good quality. I know the price would lead you to believe that the quality might be lacking, but it serves it's purpose for me quite well and seems very secure. I can move the TV out from the wall and extend the mount when I want to and also turn the TV at a downward angle without manually tightening or loosening anything every time. You have to find the right tension for your needs by tightening and loosening when you first attach the TV, but once you get it tightened to your liking it's fine. Installation: Pretty easy. Find the beams in your wall (use a studfinder if you need to) and place the mount against the wall with the 2 holes aligned with the beam, then mark on the wall where the holes are. Drill 2 holes into the beams in your wall, and they even recommend with bit size to use. (They have concrete anchors included if it's not a drywall/wood beam surface). Place the mount back on the wall and drill the large bolts through the holes and into the wall. Find the correct screws that your TV uses on the back. Hold the TV up to the plate (you may need the extensions attached if it's a larger TV), align the holes and attach the screws. It doesn't take that long. Why not 5 stars? I do think the parts and materials are good quality. However, trying to line up the TV with the plate on the mount is much easier with 2 people. This could be much easier and done by one person if it was made that you could easily take the mounting plate off of the arm, attach it to the TV while the TV is laying face down, and then attaching the TV back to the arm of the mount with a bolt and nut. That can probably be done if you really need to, but it's not really designed to be assembled in that manner and the instructions say to do it the way I describe above. Also, my TV is only about 10 lbs. If I extend the arm fully, you can notice a bit of sag. Nothing dangerous, and I'm not afraid the TV will crash, but for previous reviewers who commented about the companies weight limits and their actual experience, I agree with previous reviewers. I'm not sure how well this mount would do with a TV over 30 lbs if you really were going to fully extend the arm on a regular basis. If you have a heavier TV, I would say 35 lbs would probably leave me uncomfortable and the heavier you get from there would probably start getting more risky if you extend the mount out from the wall. It would probably be more secure with a heavier TV if you didn't extend the arm, but then why would you buy this particular mount? I would go with a traditional mount that doesn't extend if it's over 30 lbs. If you have a lighter TV, this mount will probably do just fine. I do find the arm extension and the flexibility, rotation to be a positive...especially when I was installing and the bubble level that's included didn't seem to be on the same page as the eyeball test when I tried to like up the back as vertically as possible. I just made the back of the mount as vertical as possible combining the bubble level and my eyes and didn't stress as much because in the end I can just swivel the TV and rotate it to be the desired viewing angle.

Great price, generous package, gratifying customer support!
This is a great deal on a versatile TV wall mount. I got it for a little less than $30 for my 55-inch TV. The extra goodies (bubble level, nice HDMI cable, quality wiping clothes for TV display, velcro straps to bundle wires, key-chain light) were just icing on the beautiful cake that is the TV wall mount. Once I got this installed on the wall with the TV, it moves in virtually any direction I need it to (except up and down, but it can tilt up and down). Perfect for a living room setup where the TV has to be above a fireplace that is located next to the corner of the room. With this wall mount, I have the TV positioned at the corner of the room looking out. Exactly what I needed. One of the major negatives about this wall mount was how difficult it can be to install it, especially with a 55-inch TV which is the maximum size it supports. There doesn't seem to be a way to attach the back plate on the TV before putting it up on the wall, so you would need 1-2 people to help hold the TV up while another person stand behind the TV and screws on the back plate. Another negative is that once the TV is attached, it doesn't move around fluidly as I expected. It can be tilted in any direction or even rotated in either direction with little effort, but shifting it left/right or pushing it towards or pulling it away from the wall isn't as easy. Maybe with a lighter and smaller TV this will work better, but luckily for my setup I only need to adjust it once and not bother with it. This is a great TV mount for the price and comes with everything you need to get it set up (except for a stud finder if you need one). However if you have a 55-inch TV, I would recommend looking for another TV mount that has it more towards the beginning or middle of the supported size range. UPDATE: Cheetah seems to really value customer satisfaction. They contacted me about my negative installation experience and were very eager to improve anything they can with their product as well as make it up to me through a partial refund and helpful tips. It is apparent Cheetah takes pride in their products and in providing the best customer experience possible. This was evident not only from the phone call, but also in all the little things I noticed such as the box containing the TV mount, the packaging, and all the extra gifts included.

My second successful Cheetah Mount!
This was the second time I've purchased a Cheetah wall-mount for one of our TVs. This time around, I purchased the smaller version that fits our 32" LCD TV. The first Cheetah mount was for a larger (42") LCD TV and required a larger type bracket than this one. As with the first Cheetah mount, this also was well constructed of heavy materials, strong welds and solid parts. It's very evident just by picking up the mount that it was going to be sturdy. Installation was simple as it only required applying a cut-out template to your wall, ensuring the template was level (using the included level), drilling the two holes used to mount the bracket to the wall, and then screwing the bracket to the wall using the provided bolts in the installation kit. Of course, you need to determine where your wall studs are and I have a electronic stud finder to do the job for me. It's important that you center the bracket on your stud to ensure it is secured properly to the wall. My installation was the standard install into 16" on center - 2" X 4" studs. Once we had the bracket up on the wall, the last part was to snap on the plastic cover to cover the bolts you just put into the wall and then hang the TV. Hanging the TV requires two people; one person to hold the TV up against the bracket and one to screw in the provided screws to the back of the TV. No issues and was very quick to hang. Once the TV was secure, we found that the TV was perfectly level and we swiveled the mount in and out and had no issues with the level changing. Of course, we don't have the need to keep moving it in our case. Once we had it were were wanted, there was no further need to touch it. There are ways to loosen up the bracket to allow for adjustments and the instructions are very clear on how to do this; however, we had no need to do this. The only reason I may have considered it was to allow for the bracket to swing out more easily. It was fairly stiff, but I wanted to keep that stiffness in the bracket to allow for more support. Overall, I am very pleased with this bracket and Cheetah has done it again. I couldn't be more happy with it. The price for this mount compared to other brackets of the same type and design of different brands was exceptional. I will continue to buy Cheetah mounts for all my TV mounting needs.

Best mount available under $250
A lot of folks it seems had trouble with this mount, but at $30 you are not going to get a smooth, ball bearing feel, or tight tollerances with pre-lubed contact points right out of the box! My experience ( I followed others advice here on Amazon) was excellent with this stand. I bought an 8oz tube of lithium grease, ($4) and lubed every part of the swivel joints liberally, and I do mean every area, inside and out of the swival points (Obviously not on the exterior). I used about a 1/3rd of an 8oz tube. The mount swings like butter, and no sagging noted. The mounts swivel points are so smooth, I need to use two allen wrenches on all higes to adjust the tightnes as the whole hinge bolt would just spin, and never tighten as it would before using the grease. there are two sizes of allen wrenches provided, and the is a bolt on the top and bottom of each hinge, hence the need for two allen wrenches. Small cost if you don't have them, but be sure to buy them along with the grease if you don't. Lubrimatic Green Biobased White Lithium Grease, 8-oz tube (10307) One customer rated this 1 star, but for the purpose of this mount, I bought a tube at my local home center, and it works fantastic, plus it's green as a bonus. Read the review, the grease does not do well in very cold temperatures according to the reviewer, but inside the house or warmer climates, it's ecellent. I do have it mounted on wood paneling, using this type of stand on drywall would certainly give differing results because drywall is fairly soft. I would make a 9"X18" mounting plate out of 1/3" or 1/4" wood/paneling to distribute the preasure this mount applies to such a small area. It's physics, the mount will work on drywall, but expect to be tightening the mounting bolts now and again, and eventually replacing the drywall (Depending on the quality of your drywall, most likely mounting something this heavy will destroy it over time) or moving the mount to another area. Another suggestion stated above would be excellent as well, find the stud, cut the drywall out to match the base of the mount with the cover on, and you'll have a solid, non sagging, smooth mount. If you are handy, You could make your own fancy cover plate out of wood, and paint to match the wall. For $30 bucks, come on people? anyone rating this mount less than 5 stars is not reading the reviews, description given by Amazon & Cheata Mounts, and is most likely all thumbs, and that's not a bad thing, but don't blame your inadequacies on the mount.

Pride in their product, that’s unusual!
I ordered this over a year ago and never got a chance to use it until tonight. I was pleasantly surprised for the cost of $15.95 at the amount of product that I got. Seems like it’ll be sturdy enough for my 55 inch TV. Easy to read although you really don’t need them, instructions that are big enough so that an American can read them. It is also came with three pieces of the Velcro cord maintenance straps. And an HDMI cord 10 foot long with gold ends. Every nut and bolt was where it was supposed to be. And there was one last little Velcro bag I mean, not a Velcro, a Ziploc bag. I examined it for a minute try and figure out what it was. It was a little neon flashlight that goes on your keychain. I mean it’s small but when you need it, it’ll be there. I just thought those little touches were over and above what most people ship you, I mean, usually instructions are so small and written on such crappy paper with such bad English that you have to first you have to get your phone to take a picture of them and see what you’ve got and then the rest of it just gonna do like a Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles kind of thing just feel your way through. So I don’t usually write such a good review for such a small product but apparently to this company it’s not a small product to them. It looks like they take pride in what they do. And if I need another one, they’ll be the first place I will go. I mean it’s not the highest tech, but I didn’t buy it for the highest tech. It does exactly what I wanted to do. So was a pleasure purchasing it from them. Five STARS! More than likely, they have fans, hair models, but I didn’t look for them. Buy one and enjoy..

Seriously, buy this right now!
I am extremely happy with this purchase. If you're looking for a good TV wall mount, look no further. I highly doubt that you will ever find a better deal, anywhere. First of all, this seems to be a very high quality, solid mount that does exactly what I need it to do. I have no worries about my TV being mounted up high on the wall with this thing. It was easy to set up, and It's very easy to move my TV around whichever way I need to. I could not be happier with this product. Aside from the quality, you also get ample hardware to accommodate several different types of TV configurations. They did not cut corners or skimp on the hardware. With this mount I also received a level, HDMI cable, screen cloth, key chain with a little flashlight, several velcro cable straps, and a grey paw print insert for if you don't like the blue one. You will not find a better product with this many extras for this price. I absolutely would buy another one of these in a heartbeat.

Top quality item for a great price
I bought this to mount my son's 32" Hitachi in his bedroom and is it more than adequate. Very strong, sturdy and well made, these are very reasonably priced compared to some which can be extortionate. It tilts, swivels, goes almost flat to wall or will extend out meaning the TV can be moved to a variety of positions. Comes with a handy spirit level to aid fitting and a free HDMI cable. Has extension plates for hanging larger TVs where the bolt holes are further apart. Comes with a variety of different sized bolts and spacers but you may still have to take a trip to the DIY store as I did to get the correct bolts for your particular TV as they vary. It is not just the thread size that needs to be correct, it's the length aswell. I managed to fit the mount and secure the TV on my own but it would be better to have an extra pair of hands to help when fitting. Can't fault this product.

Was will man mehr? Also bitte! Also nicht lange nachdenken, kaufen!!
