Where is it made? Is it made in China?

I tried to research and determine from the upc bar code that it was NOT made in China......But when taking out of box the gauge itself it stamped "MADE IN CHINA."

What is the accurracy of this guage?

Accuracy is relative to the intended use. I use the guage I bought on my pool filter, accuracy not as important as consistency. I would probably spend a great deal more on a guage that could potentially lead to a life threatening event.

When used to measure pressure of a enclosed vessel filled with steam, will the heat damage the gauge?

The description does not mention heat as a problem. It states: “Stainless steel case, brass wetted parts, glycerin filled” and it meets drinking water standards, so it will probably be fine as long as there’s not anything corrosive.

High quality gauge

Top quality gauge, purchased to replace an el cheapo gauge that had failed on a tire inflation tool. Easy to read, liquid filled to dampen the working parts, good value, highly recommend.

Good product

Great quality gauge, I have bought a few over the last year for different applications. This time, it was used for my well pressure tank rebuilding project. Worked perfectly, and even got a compliment from a well repair tech that reviewed the tank install. Good size for visibility of the reading. You can't go wrong with this gauge for function quality or price.
