I ordered this after realizing my current face wash included Red Dye 40.... YUCK! This one has much better ingredients and my skin is already thanking me. It's very gentle, and has a mild smell.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved this cleanser--it's both gentle and effective. In terms of foam, this is not a high-foaming cleanser, so if you love big puffs of foam you may need to look elsewhere. But high foam doesn't translate to effective, and with this cleanser I get a thorough but gentle cleanse. Based on the ingredients I did expect this to be gentle but what I didn't expect was how soft my skin would feel after using it. My skin is on the dryer side so I'm careful in selecting my foaming cleansers. I have found many that don't dry out my skin but this is the first cleanser where my skin actually feels better after washing. It is a bit on the pricey side but if you can spend the money and want a gentle cleanse, give it a try!

This cleanser isn't bad...but it isn't great either. I will use it until it's gone but won't repurchase. At this price point, a cleanser should be great, but this one falls VERY short. It was gentle on my aging skin, I will give it that. But it is horribly stinging when it gets in the eyes and...hello...it is soapy and bubbly on the face so chances are it is going to travel in the eyes even when tightly closed. It's 2025, I don't remember a cleanser stinging my eyes since I was a child. While I do appreciate it does not strip my skin...it does leave a film behind which I then need to exfoliate off in order to use my skincare effectively. If I don't exfoliate off, my skincare does not absorb well. Ugh. Too high maintenance for a cleanser. Too bad, I had high hopes for this cleanser. Nice try, but no cigar.

I have sensitive skin and have to be careful with what products I can use. I also have a job where I can get quite dirty at time so it's important that I have an effective face wash. This face wash gives me a deep cleanse without it feeling like my skin has been stripped. I will definitely be buying this again.
