Very effective treatment for methane SIBO
I found that this, in combination with the CandiBactin-BR, was effective in treating methane SIBO that had proven resistant to antibiotics. See Chedid et al., Herbal Therapy Is Equivalent to Rifaximin for the Treatment of Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth. Your doctor (if you can find one knowledgeable about SIBO) may recommend a prokinetic such as prucalopride as a follow up to prevent relapse.

Side effects from this could be from a Herx Reaction - that is, bad bacteria dying
I decided to take this product because I know it's a great company and because of the study by Gerald Mullins, MD of Johns Hopkins that I read about on one of the reviews. It's google-able, so can be found online. I did a microbiome test by Thorne and they found that I had an overgrowth of some bad bacteria and yeast. So, I started taking this along w/some other products recommended by Thorne. [Pre-fiber, fiber, probiotics and prebiotics etc.] The thing about killing stuff in your gut is - it dies and then your body has to get rid of it. sometimes the body gets overwhelmed by the bad guys, even when they're dead. its called a HERX reaction. also google-able if you don't know what it is. so, if you feel badly after taking this product, it could be because of a HERX reaction and not because the product is faulty in any way. the opposite. its doing its job, ie killing the bad stuff. I would suggest starting slowly. 1 a day for a few days, then 2 a day if things are going ok. Also, food grade clay and food grade charcoal are also supposed to help get the bad stuff out. I'm not a doctor or medical professional. do your own research. I do detox baths, either clay + seaweed or epsom salts sometimes w/charcoal. that's a great way to detox because the bad stuff comes out your skin too, and it can get alot out in one bath. So, know that getting rid of the bad stuff in your gut takes a while. it's a marathon and not a sprint. start very slowly, work up to the suggested dose gradually. Since I did the test and have been following the recommendations and taking these products, I feel alot better, which means alot. I still think I have several more weeks to go, I'll get another microbiome test and see what that says. Best of luck!!

Company is untrustworthy. Lost $58.00!
The soft gels were stuck together and melted Very expensive. And couldn't return it. I got tired of calling the vendor, the shipping company, and even Amazon. They all were nice and promised to return my money it has been over a month and had not received anything. Donโt waste your money and time on this product. Iโve been suffering from Sibo and my GI Dr. Recommended it as a 6 months treatment. I had to go with another brand, that cost less and was bought locally at Sprouts. Iโm feeling much better but lost $58.00!

Worked well, but expensive
This really helped my digestive symptoms, but is quite expensive. There are less expensive options available.

I don't think it worked for me
I've been taking Dysbiocide and FC-cidal on and off for a few years but wanted to try Candibactin-AR and BR to see if it's any better for me. I'm unsure if this product actually worked or not, but quick answer is that it probably didn't work for me. I took AR and BR according to the instructions until I ran out of both bottles. Soon after starting both AR and BR, I had diarrhea (loose/very soft stool, but not watery) and it didn't stop even after finishing both bottles. I believe that I have mostly SIBO-C (constipation) so it helped that the constipation was gone but I don't think it eliminated the underlying SIBO. I waited about a month of taking nothing after I finished both bottles, but there was still no overall improvement. It wasn't until I restarted dysbiocide and fc-cidal about 1.5 months later that my stool went back to normal. Given that AR and BR are roughly double the price of Dysbiocide and FC-cidal, I'm going to stick with dys/fc.
