Does it help with constant need to urinate?

The prolapsed pelvic support applies targeted pressure to reduce or restrict engorgement of the veins in the pubic region. This compression also supports the pelvic floor, holding your uterus and bladder in the proper anatomical position to prevent the feeling that “everything is falling out". We can not state whether or not it will help with feeling the constant need to urinate.

how much pressure against groin area or where straps are between legs?

The Pelvic Pro Prolapse Support Belt has adjustable straps, where you can adjust the amount of pressure to your comfort level.

Should it fit at the waist or hips? Photos look like the hips. I measured closer to the waist.

There are two straps on the back, you can kind of adjust height with those straps. I usually wear on upper part of pelvis ( prominent pelvic bone you can feel side of your right and left hip).
