I've been using the Spa Sciences Ultrasonic Skin Spatula, and it's become one of my favorite skincare tools. I have use this item before this order. I had the same one that lasted 5+ years and would still be working had my cat not chewed thru the charging cord. This item has become a big part of my skin care regime. It can be used for multiple reasons. Its inexpensive, it cleans pores without leaving the skin irritated or bruised. When fully charged it works long enough to use multiple times. There are 4 options and they all work perfectly. I had another item that was supposed to clean pores using a suction like application, but that never worked and left marks on my skin. This item has no suction option but cleans and dislodges both blackheads and eliminates blemishes without pain.

So this isn't a magic sebum/blackhead remover, but it *does* get things moving. It's not strong enough for impurities that are deeper within the skin, but I have had success with more surface level stuff like sebaceous filaments and it makes the skin feel smoother (if you produce a lot of sebum, you'll know what I mean). You will see the gunk from your face on the scraper, but it's definitely not as extreme as influencers show, lol. It works better on flat skin than it does on small curves like your nose. It's given me really good results on my jawline (which is difficult to reach), and I use it regularly (1-2 days) on my T-zone since I produce a ridiculous amount of oil and sebum. The battery length is pretty long for each charge, but I am wary that it'll go bad like most cheaper handheld skincare devices so I'll be updating this review if that changes (but you can assume it's otherwise working fine if I haven't updated).

This does not get blackheads out.

This product worked great and decongesting my pores, lifting and toning my skin and helping my skin to absorb my skin care. It is lightweight and quite powerful. Be careful to follow the instructions accordingly. I did forget to moisten my face while using the ion + and it did give me a little bit of an electrical shock. The lift mode is very warming , I enjoyed it but suggest continuously moving the spatula while holding the skin taught. It takes a bit of work getting used to the 45° angle and being gentle with your skin while operating. My skin is glowing and radiant and I’m happy to have tried this product.
