These are GREAT tasting peppers. Nice smoky aroma to them
These peppers are what we were looking for to make stir-fry. They are fresh, have a wonderful smoky aroma, and the spice level is hot enough to notice, but not unbearable. My only criticism is the plastic shipping bag + USPS shipping was not a good combination for a pound of dried pepper pods, as a good portion of them got broken-up either by mail machines, or the postal carrier stuffing the 14" envelope into an 8" mailbox. A box would be better for shipping these.

Exactly what I was looking for
My sister in law makes a great hot sauce with these peppers. They are hard to find locally, so really happy we found them here.

They're okay.
They add a little smokey heat to my dishes. I don't think I'd buy them again because they are underwhelming, as peppers go.
