Mark Twain Media Pre-Calculus Workbook

This is a great tool to (try to) stay sharp with what other countries (other than the USA) consider to be remedial maths.

I love worksheets that start with a teaching section. These are written in large font and are not too busy. There are multiple problems per number resulting in a hearty homework, so I might have to pick and choose what students complete. The math problems are understandable across curricula. The author uses common and technically correct language.

Proceed with caution. It would be better if there was more information and explanation in this workbook. The layout is great and it is well organized. This is the first workbook I have came across that I'm on the fence about. Was trying to use it for homeschooling. I will be looking for another workbook. If you use this please be advised to find a textbook to accompany with it.

Good review of basic algebra in the beginning. The format is very practical.....it teaches clearly defined lessons and has plenty of practice problems.

Great summer book to keep my sons skills fresh before he takes calculus in the fall. I recommend!
