This shoe is a literal answer to my prayers for my complex feet and finding a shoe that meets those complex needs! After experiencing a fall and a knee fracture in 2019, I have intermittent swelling of my left foot, ankle and shin area. My right foot is smaller than my left. I also need excelling support and traction of my shoes and need to be able to wear for buisness ( employment) as well as walking, hiking, yard work. These shoes are the only shoes that I can wear. They are adjustable with adjustable straps around the heal area and adjustable strap across the top of my foot. They accommodate the change in swelling of my left foot while also adjusting to fit my smaller right foot. If these shoes didn’t exist I wouldn’t be able to wear shoes! Please make these available in numerous acceptable business colors- navy, brown, white as well as fun colors for play. Please don’t ever stop making/selling these shoes or I will be barefoot.

Easy wear and fun quirky style.

If you’re going to Europe, these are a must. They will be your saving grace with all the walking. I have another pair of the exact same shoe, except that they have mesh sides, and I prefer those, because they are more breathable.

I had purchased a pair of these in a much earlier design about 12+ years ago. They were finally wearing out after lasting through many trips to foreign cities. So the need for another pair. Luckily the size label had not completely worn away. I prefer the earlier design-has a smaller profile-but these shoes are so comfortable and easy to wear. Glad that I could still find them.

Mephisto is a quality shoe that has style and gives excellent support. I aways get a compliment when wearing this style.

Used for walking distances. Not enough support. Velcro closure on top of foot didn't adjust to smaller or further back on the ankle. Narrow on toes and shorter than advertised.
